I STILL have a database login failure. I haven't been able to play since the first few hours of release.

I was able to play since around 6 PM EST yesterday, but now I suddenly can't play. I don't think these server issues are going to end anytime soon.

I don't either. I was doing really well in one file, found some yaks that shit alot so I had a berry farm that was keeping me alive so I could explore, then a swarm of bats appeared and killed me when I logged back in later

If that's true, it's pretty easy to kill Jason. Just knock his mask off, get Tommy in if he isn't already, get him a machete, and have one female counselor follow him to the shack.

You have to have a lot of organized survivors and some luck, but yes it's feasible. Basically you need btfo Jason with bats and machetes and then hit him with the sweater/tommy combo.

Is playing as Jason too easy? I like the lack of things like infinites, pallet looping, and the overall experience as killer compared to DBD. However I don't get that same sense of satisfaction I got in DBD for chasing down a skilled survivor because its so easy to catch and kill people that now its more of a game of seeing how many different types of kills I can get in a match.

Not only that, but a fucking holiday weekend. They're using that as an excuse for why it's taking so long to fix issues, saying that it's harder to get in touch with the companies involved.
It's pretty much impossible for Jason to lose since he can just trap all the objectives. Against a competent Jason you'd pretty much need to be a friend group or be trying to kill him to win. Killing him might actually be easier than getting a car escape, it just requires slight cooperation and knowledge.

I can confirm this.
I got gangbagned by a premade.
I eventually killed them all because they just though smacks=kill and all their weapons broke but I was demasked after ~6 stuns

I only get salty when I die because of how lazy most Jason players are. They all play part 3. They all spam the choke and standard kill. They ignore environmental kills even when they grab you right on top of them so that no movement is required. And they never play stalk mindgames even when there is perfect opportunity. It's not fair that these retards get Jason while I'm here waiting around corners in stalk so I can use my expensive jaw rip on people.

A lot of it is honestly probably because the survivor mains who are used to being able to BM a killer and generally be massive cunts can't do it here so they don't want to play.

Yeah, killing Jason will be the meta for friends playing together. Fortunately, because it's a ritual that requires a female with a sweater and a Tommy with a machete, you have many options to stop this, like killing the power to the radio and trapping the generator, as well as trapping the shack.

Does losing your mask have any effect like increasing your chance to be stunned or something?

It sure felt like I got stunned a lot faster and for longer. After it fell of I was still stunned by them about anouther 15 times

There are a lot less chances to be an outright shitter in F13 then DBD. Its easier to fuck over other player then mess with the killer. The killer also doesn't have that many ways of saying fuck you like hook face camping or leaving them on the ground to bleed out.

Interesting that would be my assumption as to how it works. I haven't gotten my mask knocked off as Jason yet so never been able to test it.

II was able able to kite what I thought was a reasonably skilled Jason with Deborah of all counselors for a few minutes before he got me. Give it time. People will figure out tricks to staying alive. Although I should say shiftgrab has to go if we don't want player numbers dropping from frustration.

I usually do voices and shit when I'm play. I like doing the "Lucy I'm home" shtick/voice a lot when playing Jason and shit like that. Usually it gets some laughs and reactions from people on the other side when I do it.

Jason has so many meme potentials. Different accents, personalities, etc. Had some guy pick me up once, play a really loud FUCK YOU with a Gachi soundboard then throw my ass in the fire.

My recent shtick has been head counselor Jason, just trying to escort the lost campers and counselors off the premises. Also gotta remind them of the camp rules, like no swimming after midnight, no use of motor vehicles, no sneaking into other peoples cabins, etc.

I always try to reduce the anti-fun factor for counselors. It's easy to just negate everything the counselors can do, you made me use 10% of my power, but that's no fun for you or them.
