One thing to consider would be the insanely low amount of people that would be online right now since the game isn't actually out. So it's also possible the game was searching for someone and got the only dude with a somewhat okay connection.

Time will tell though.

Default throws are weaker and command throws stronger in addition to overal qol buffs.

Denuvo doesn't brick PC's or mess up harddrives or whatever. There were people in that very thread crying about denuvo and they had Deus Ex and Nier in their game history. People don't even know what it is.
It's literally nothing. People made a bunch of propaganda around it because they now have to wait months to pirate new games and it angers them. 99% of people saying "wow denuvo not buying!" weren't buying it anyway.

That denuvo accusation with the bricking ssd's was back in 2014. It wasn't even proven true. Even if it was, they've had time to fix it. Nier was just a shoddy port.
