It's because of huge sway bars, lack of suspension travel and fwd cars are often tuned to lift the a rear wheel in the corners because they are faster that way.

Look at photos of fwd track cars and you will notice many are lifting a rear wheel around corners.

yeah, stiff rear suspension and stiff front makes cars corner on three wheels, but flat.
