Cheap RWD sedan

Jesus do they only get 22? I thought they were better. My bad.

why is new a must have?
plenty of great low mileage used cars for 20-30k, 335i for example.

IRL they actually get closer to 19. I don't know how they're that bad when Tahoes can manage 24 on the highway.

Dad's paying for 1/3rd of the bill and most of the down payment. He's in another city for about 3 weeks out of the month for work/family stuff and said he'll cover a third of the cost if he get's to drive it whenever he's in town. Already tried to talk him into a used E350 Bluetec or Lexus GS but he wants a new and I don't want to push it by arguing with him.

We were originally going to get a V6 Accord Touring but after seeing that they're now going for $34-$36k we're deciding to shop around for alternatives. We both prefer RWD and under $35,000 there aren't very many vehicles to choose from. He's been buying Mercedes for the last 15 years and suggested a C300 but I think that's getting too expensive. Were it up to me I'd just be jumping on a used E350 diesel and run for as long as possible.

Chevrolet Caprice V6. 20/30 mpg

I think Cadillac has rwd 4 cylinder turbo that is around your price range.

Awd? Lincoln Mkz. Pretty sure they have a rear wheel bias at least.

Why do people make suggestions about things they know nothing about?
