Turbo V6's are clearly better than V8's for track performance. Why would you want extra weight if you're trying to create a lightweight track vehicle?

LMAO LS fan girls too ass blasted to respond

LO{OOOOOOOOLLLLL

.

Maybe because a thread exactly like this gets posted about once every hour and there's only so much discussion you can have on exactly the same post

Why did you respond to an alphonse thread you dumb shit?

>literally 1 minute after posting

bruh look at this dude

Why did you bump an alphonse thread?

Bbbut the v8 is less stressed because more displacement!!

>let's ignore the fact that ecoboost v6 beat gm shit at le mans TWICE
>let's also ignore the fact gm shit has NEVER EVER WON le mans
>and we will also ignore the shitty cuckvette lt4 exploding 6 miles from the dealership and overheating after a minute of idling in a parking lot

They won't reply to this

...

this pic shows just how light the LS is. He wouldn't be able to pick it up if it were any other v8

white people melting down itt lmao

If it were an ariel atom v8 he could hold one in each arm and out power that pushrod shit by three times

Not to mention that LS could be hella high compression and be making over 1000hp NA while those other engines struggle to make 400 and no torque.

this. pushrods are trash

>GM cuckolds being this delusional

it literally would take a 35lb nitours kit to make 1000 hp with those other engines

>y-you can nitrous an LS
good, too bad the LS would still be pigfat, no wonder its so slow on the quarter mile and has never ever won Lemans

STOP responding.

bump

Isn't the LT4 only 600bhp with a super charger?
Doesn't it also require ELEVEN intercoolers to stop it from overheating?
Didn't they also have major overheating issues in production cars which required a major redesign to the intercoolers and their mounting locations?

But going back to Ford, why is the GT so totally mediocre? It looks like something out of a JRPG that sprouts wings and fires lasers but track times are worse than some Porsches that are only a fraction of the price.

Why can't America make a single well rounded sports car like the Germans can?

You do realize modifying your car is a thing here? Why would stock power figures matter?

What are you going to do to your 11 intercooler Chevy thats already at risk of overheating from the factory?
What are you going to change on the 2017 Ford GT that actually gives it performance to justify its extreme aerospace design?
Why modify anything on a $500,000 car thats worse than $150,000 in pretty much every respect? Why can't American manufacturers create a genuine luxury car that is also sporty and capable of setting track records at the same time?
