I have a massive smash community near me, they've got a different local for every single day of the week with decent showup to each one. (Highest one being around 60avg) When I played KI competitively I drove 1:30 or 2 hours depending on traffic just to get to a populated local.
Good news is that the Tekken venue already has 30 people registered for Wednesday. It'll be my first Tekken game too. Can't fucking wait.

Do you like aggression and airdashing? Play GG the most. Do you like aggression and prefer traditional fighting games? Get KoF. Do you like 3d (it's apples and oranges, not even going to try to compare it to 2d). Tekken is probably worth a shot.
Ottawa. SFV and Fightcade work fine for me. I haven't heard a lot of good things about the netcode from the beta, but people said it was 'being improved'
