That is what sparked the great wealth boom in the communist chinese political party members. Some of the largest wealthiest chinese companies are owned by the chinese government. Why is Tesla getting more subsidies from California when it is going to use the money to build a gigafactory in China? Why should USA tesla cars used expensive batteries made in the usa factory when the chinese factory batteries are so much cheaper? Why should the usa tesla factory manufacture or contract parts from usa companies when the chinese gigafactory can make those body parts cheaper? Basically, all those subsidies tesla gets is going to create a chinese monster of a factory that will take over a lot of the production.

What you need to know is that looting begins BEFORE the storm. As places begin to be abandoned, looters may even pry open the boarded up windows to get at stuff inside. The looters therefore unprotect places! That sucks too. It's impossible to pass laws making looting tougher to do because then anti-discrimination laws stop those laws from being passed.

Some cars are like that probably because they have low tread, cheap tires, or both. So the owners have problems controlling the car at freeway speed. As a result, even when slowing down due to traffic congestion, the driver may be skittish due to fear the tires might lose grip.

That's only my guess, but I base it upon looking at cars in the parking lot. If there isn't a quarter of an inch or more tread, the tires will suck if rain pools up on the freeway ruts. Leess than 1/4 inch seems to cause a hydroplaning effect on freeway ruts from my own experience. And I'm using higher quality tires and not the cheap ones. So those other cars I see with less tread are probably going to feel slightly floaty on the freeway.

I wish studded tires were banned here. The freeway and some residential highways are rutted due to those tires each winter. There isn't enough days of ice and snow to warrant them, yet they are legal thru the last day of march.

Not even on the highway, just driving around town, people come in hot af to red lights and think their suburban can do a 90 degree turn at 20+ mph in the rain.
And I seed people just haphazardly driving right into big puddles of water without making any attempt to avoid them.
