Combat looks interesting, but holy fuck there's no way that's the final sfx, right? That's a pisspoor job by whoever was in charge of the sound if it really is final and that alone puts me off big time. Just goes to show how important audio is for building up atmosphere and making actions seem "impactful".
Amazing stats and unlike all the other shit jumps in the game, with her passive on her jumps can follow targets if they move.

So it looks like Kitsune's burn inflict damage is actually based on the attack stat and I don't think the earrings' passive (improve signature move damage) does anything for it. Equips like the gauntlets can improve her burn's damage.
With a level 29 Kitsune and no attack equips, I was doing 59 dmg per burn. With a level 100 gold gauntlet equipped, I did 159. I believe the burn damage is calculated as 10% of your attack, but leaders like Tsuda with her attack buff leader skill also increase that damage. I had all of Kitsune's signature move masteries unlocked, so maybe the % is different if you don't have those unlocked. Or maybe only the tail whip damage is improved by those masteries. Also, the SR damage enhance skill increases burn damage when used.

She has a hard time with multiple small enemies like the spiders which keeps her from always being good. Likewise Izumi kind of sucks against larger bosses that spamming her signature can't kill but she's probably the best at killing smaller enemies which makes her very good for farming on auto.

Sadly for Izumi, Kou exists. She has more mobility/attack and can dash from one target to another without having her entire moveset be lunges like Izumi. Kou's icicles also kill small enemies when they get close to her which makes her very good at fighting small enemies like spiders and stuff. And in the case you get swarmed by small, medium or big enemies then you can just pop your ougi and kill/freeze everything on the map.

Kou is easily the better unit of the 2 but you still need to hit buttons for Kou to edge out Izumi when it comes to clearing waves of enemies on auto. Izumi loses nothing from being played on auto and will end up clearing levels the fastest as a result. It's a pretty terrible niche to have when Kou is great at AoEing things and Momiji is the uncontested boss destroyer but at least she has something going for her, unlike Sayo.

You don't really need to hit buttons, I still think Kou beats Izumi in both manual and auto. Auto makes great use of her dashes and tends to jump from one enemy to another better than I could ever do.
The only time I hit buttons while autoing with her is at the boss so I can kill it with one tap of my dash skill and grab that S-rank.

Sorry for the late response, regarding MTs, there's a lot of good choices now with a lot of the N5 and N6 ones being popular end-game choices. At the very late game, progressing from mediocre jacks of all trades they start excelling at every aspect. Though early on, they're only useful for their good aim and MT selection isn't that great which is why a lot of people end up going into HTs early on.
Early MT choices end up being more about prerequisites, but the best two early on are Panzer III Ausf. L for damage and T-34M for tanking. Ausf. L however leads into HTs and ATGs while T-34M leads into a mostly mediocre selection of tanks. T-34M however does eventually lead to T-54 which is one of the few N6.5 tanks. Though you need to max level like half a dozen gold tanks for that.
Regarding what to aim for that's both great endgame and not too hard to get to is Vijayanta. N5.5 so one of the strongest tanks in the game fully skilled. She's in like half the pvp teams of the top 10 clash players actually.
That's actually a good place to check thinking about it. The guy in 4th place fields only MTs.

That's an idea of what to aim for late game.

Scam water trance dude looks like he's actually a 9* descend, so good luck. It never hurts anybody too badly to do a single pull and try for a ticket since that's about what scratches are good for. The units are good so doing the 1st 10roll isn't bad either to get 2 more ticket chances. Up to you but it's got all the limiteds, nothing seems rate-up.
