New TVR Griffith

The new TVR is called TVR Griffith, bringing once again the historical name of Griffith from the 1963. Designed by Gordon Murray and packs a 400 bhp Cosworth engine

Just looks like a super toned down TVR with no real special styling.

Not keen, but I thought TVR was dead as fuck?

Oh nice the Kia stinger is out finally

>5L QuadCam V8
>0-100 mph = "6 and a bit" seconds
>200 mph top speed
>Manual Transmission

cool, will they still ignore the US market to guarantee a commercial flop?

Youre SURE thats not a twingo?

500 Limited Editions are made and costs £90,000. Griffith will also enter Le Mans soon

I'm happy it doesnt look angry

another happy faced supercar

What's the kill button for?

>airbag

Does ANYONE think that looks like a sportscar-twingo.

>Griffith will also enter Le Mans soon
>they are going to enter Ford's own engine in le mans
Is it possible that they will be in GTLM?
>MFW they beat Ford with their own engine they were too cuck to use themselves

Dead as fuck in 2000s after being bought by that smug russian kid

then bought back by the TVR Automotive Ltd in 2013, they developed the car for 3 years since then

sigh

Why can't manufacturers put more effort into their tips. It's lazier than fucking plastic engine bays.

killing, clearly.

So it has a dog leg 7 speed right?

>Griffith

So this is their entry level one right, right?

It's a side exhaust port, if the exhaust was exposed it'd potentially burn people's legs trying to get in and out of the car.

It's a "Tremec Magnum", so it's a good old fashioned 6 Speed.
>Cosworth tuned Tremec backed 500hp 5.0 Coyote V8
My body is ready.

>after being bought by that smug russian kid
To be fair the smug Russian kid brought us the Sagaris.

TVR owners and fans moaning about the design, at least it doesn't have Mondeo tail lights

Burgers are shit drivers. You'd crash them all in a day.

That's the funny part
>burgers live for drag racing because corners are for commies or whatever.
>based TVR still manages to kill them regardless

>drive Mustang in straight line
>plow into pedestrians on footpath on opposite side of road

>He too old he too old

...

>airbag
>kill switch
>traction control on by default
Griffith has always been the more sensible TVR.
My wishful thinking is that it sparks interest at FCA and Dodge to get competitive between their Viper and this on the road and the track.

For a performance car there must be a way to make it more graceful

nice mazda

It turns into a mustang and furiously understeers at full throttle at each corner and aims itself at the largest crowd in sight duh. Mainly made for car shows and such

What are you trying to express here? That you don't like being fucking saved?

Unless you are down on your hands and knees looking directly into the tip, you'd never even notice.

A TVR should be able to burn its driver's leg, though.

TVR very seldom (if at all) historically fitted airbags to their cars factory.

Or you guys could, like, not post this knowing it would start shit. There's examples of poor drivers and goos drivers everywhere.

So you don't have to replace the whole muffler assembly when you curb it

Looks like it's just a ring around the port to protect the bodywork, at least they're not faking the shape or number of tips.

...

GRIFFITH DID NOTHING WRONG

GRIIIIIFFFIIIIIIIIIIIIITH

G R I F F I T H

Viper is dead, f a m

doesn't it pack 500 horses, not 400?

also, it seems a bit pricey for what it is.

I looks really good to be a TVR

Not really, it's a 200mph 1200kg (2600lb) car that will get to 100 in 6 seconds. And it's manual. That's fucking rapid for £90k

..six n a bit.

That doesnt sound right?

that weight man. bonkers

Oooohhh..

0-100

Thats new, my mistake.

It looks like fucking shit, let's be frank. And it's a modified Ford 5.0.

Is it not ugly enough or something?

That's part of the TVR charm m8

It's died like three times, something will bring it back.

Well it's built in a shed in Surrey so of course it has a cheap American V-8 tuned by another bloke in a shed near by it's all they can afford.

really easy to point out the prius owners itt lol

It better have looney paintjob.

It does. Fug

>400hp cosworth

it's the coyote from the mustang, it already makes 435hp from the factory

>and boasts a power-to-weight ratio of 400bhp-per-tonne
OP misquoted.

>Cars getting angrier each year
>The happy looking one has the "kill" button

>T.Griffith

This, if they were flush with body work the paint would bubble and it works warp the side skirts

At least they're the same shape as the tailpipes lol. My MPS has oval shrouds and circular tailpipes

I don't see how "Ford V8" is a problem.

The front isn't doing much for me desu, but the ass is top-tier.

It's a V8, Rear-wheel drive, manual transmission vehicle and faggots here still complaining. Shove your contrarianism in ur asses.

Well at least we can drive, unlike you eurocuck busriders.

Yeah, but will it try to kill me is what I'm more interested in?

Do you not see the kill button? They're going for other road users and/or pedestrians with this one.
I'm with you on that. The bonnet needs a scoop or some vents on the wheel arches like the Sagaris or something. Looks too Toyaburu as it is. Add the front reg plate to it and it'll look worse.

They couldn't dodge the EU mandate anymore. At least that's what I read. Also has ABS and TC I think. Brexit not soon enough

It's not even the bonnet, it's the headlights. They're too "happy" for me, maybe a sharper design would fix.

This. Also would love to see it on a track vs Ford GT. GT might still win, but then again I've never seen video or figures of a GT on a track.

>Gordon Murray

what a legend

They're too far to the wings and bolt upright. Maybe if the fogs were at the bottom of the bumper it'd break things up a bit more?

Looking at front like this isn't too bad, the color also helps. But still wide as fuck.

It is happy as fuck.

Probably. Just imagine a Mustang with more power, less weight and the bare minimum for nanny features. The pedestrian death toll is going to be astronomical.

I think it's the smiley grill.

>two inches shorter and lower than a cayman
>200lb lighter

How the FUCK can other manufacturers even compete?

This thing is cool, side exhaust is extra gay though. I'd probably break my neck if i ever saw one on a road

>side exhaust is extra gay
Side pipes are GOAT

>not liking sidepipes
What are you, an faggit?

They're silly, look at this:
Looks like an afterthought when they were done making a gorgeous car

That's kinda how TVR rolls though. It's part of their charm.

Plus it leaves more room for a fuckmassive diffuser at the back.

Looks more like they were supposed to go past the doors but someone got sick of burning themselves getting in/out so they shortened them.

Is it true that this sexy beast utilizes ground effect for downforce?

UNF

Deploys the rocket launchers.

Look at the diffuser on it. It's huge.

How much does it even cost? Nobody has been talking about price.

Who gives a shit how much smaller it is than a cayman if its 3x the price.

it's a looker but doesn't exactly scream mad cunt

90k british good boy points.

So yeah it's fucking expensive. Performance wise this is well beyond the Cayman, which I absolutely love.

90k

Holy shit that's some funky stuff with ground effects for a sub-100k road car.

Where the fuck are the angry hatchet style vents and huge spoilers, and sikk exhausts?

i bet it wont even wrap you around a tree without warning
