Would any of you fine gentlemen care to closely inspect my cutting instrument?
Mason Wilson
>Head to casual to play some consume monsters and have a good time >3 opponents back to back are spy Calveit with RNR
Eli Campbell
animated john natalis vs yennefer vs menno coehoorn. What to pick.
Isaac Turner
I mean if you're looking at it from the long term aspect it's better to take shitty premium golds over decent golds.
Landon Turner
Absolute Bro >Eredin players >Foltest players Cool Guy >Dagon players >Henselt and Radovid players That Weird Kid >Unseen Elder players >Scoia'tael players Absolute Faggot >Nilfgaard players
Andrew Diaz
>Dagon >Cool Guy He's only good because he spams frost at you.
Benjamin Price
Hey, Just started playing this game yesterday and put together a budget consume deck.
I'm having issues particularly against decks that have catapults and those cards that buff adjacent minions if they have armor.
Any specific kind of kill spells or weather I should include for those? Also any suggestions to improve my deck on a budget? Please no bully.
Easton Jenkins
>0/4 gold >2/6 silver Put down the fucking crack pipe
Juan Clark
Been tracking my kegs. 3 legendaries in 70 packs. 1 was a first 4 card Triss duplicate. Hit pity timer of 40 exactly for last one. Glad I didnt pay money for this shit.
Jason James
So I should just include shit like Geralt and Triss? Those are literally the only golds I have.
David Cook
>should i include 10-13 power card that cant be interacted with? >nah better include 3 power harpy that cant do shit in my deck
Jacob Gonzalez
protip: gold cards in this game are just better value than other cards, silvers are also better than bronze.
4 golds and 6 silvers is not just a suggestion.
Noah Long
you should have 4 golds mate
Jace Adams
I've only just hit level 10 but I've found that a lot of times the plus 10 (or 13 if you're lucky) from Geralt and the -5 from Triss is really helpful.
Evan White
>Absolute Bro >Eredin players
nice try, retard
Benjamin Taylor
>harpy doesn't do shit in consume >retard giving advice to new players
Jace Russell
Okay thanks. I'll throw them in then.
And I assume its a good idea to try to stay at like 25 cards?
Michael Butler
>Monsters >Any where but faggot who knows nothing but weather hurts things
Hunter Allen
whatthefuck is this
Jack Smith
>I assume its a good idea to try to stay at like 25 cards? I think like any card game, the less cards the more consistent is the way to go.
Ayden Long
Anyone else think the game is a lot less fun after the open beta update?
Cameron Lee
I'm nearing 800 scraps. Safest craft that would be all around useful would be igni, right? I already have RNR
David Kelly
Which one, boys?
Kevin Harris
At least you didn't get a leader card like some other people are.
Jack Fisher
I think you're just pretentious
Cooper Reed
Yes
Noah Anderson
yes always play 25 cards, unless you draw your entire deck every game like NG mill
Anthony Brooks
anyone else think NG medics need to be removed
Jackson Moore
theyre both ending up as 200 scraps
Henry Robinson
I am trying to get into Nilfgaard. Which Silver should I craft next, if I'm not yet sure which archetype I prefer?
Anthony Martin
braenn for shitty ST decks or the spy one if you are a NG faggot but actually wants to win
Robert Rodriguez
Why, because i think removing faction abilities and giving cards much more samey effects is boring?
Hudson Young
Albrich
Henry Rodriguez
Whats the budget face hunter deck I can play to farm kegs before i can play a real deck.
Ryder Anderson
Weather monsters
Aggro decks dont exist
Jason Taylor
nope, I didn't play all the way through closed beta, but I remember every game was just whoever has card advantage wins because of old weather.
I feel like games are a lot more intense now without all the game ending swing cards.
Chase Bennett
to elaborate, im debating between joachim, guardian, cantarela, and the two guys in bottom left
Christopher Wood
one of the spies
Owen Ortiz
> weather is dead
lmao 4 fog lmoa
> spell St
get fucking weaved when you pass and lmao 20 crones
Charles Robinson
is the gist of weather monsters budget, white frost, crones, a third dog and biting frost?
Ayden Allen
Ceallach is pretty bad. Joachim and Cantarella are pretty safe crafts.
Kevin King
>3 power >trigger death wish >in the deck with just eggs
Joseph Scott
>what are nekkers?
kys my man
Nathaniel Cox
This spell deck fag on Twitch has jumped 300 ranks since I last stopped watching like 4 hours ago.
Justin Lopez
I don't mind his deck is AIDS
I do mind that people are infesting casual with it because they're fucking unoriginal cocks
Tyler Nelson
>nekkers >2 power shit that gets banished the moment it touches the board in ng meta i mean cmon bro even if harpy tirggers it just 8-10 power at most not enough deathwish support in monster atm gold at least cant be scorched or die in the weather ghouls would be cool but they will eat 2-3 power shit that will be in your graveyard or million spies or imperial golems TL;DR 0\4 gold is not worth it kys my man
Jace Martinez
Yeah I never saw a single ST deck that wasn't dwarfs until today. Played two spell deck faggots in the last 3 hours.
Ian Gonzalez
> only one deck runs BTM
>better play all of my units in the last round
you people are like dogs
Nathaniel Edwards
>literally can't win a single game as dwarf anymore
I've made a terrible mistake picking this deck at the start of open beta
Carson Jackson
>plays like shit all game >is a card down going into round 3 >wins anyways because his last card is a 25 power gold card simply epic
>not passing when you are 11 points ahead versus last card tibor ng
David Fisher
what kind of improvements can be made to my Nilfgaard deck? I have 190 dust at the moment and was thinking along the lines of adding Imperial Golem for offense, spamming Rot Tosser and winning quite frankly makes me feel like a scumbag lads
Ryan Martinez
>Ever being ahead on points against nilf
William Campbell
Golem is a bit fucky in an Emhyr deck, especially since you're running spies. With Emhyr you want to sit on his hero power until you feel like you would get a really strong use out of it which means you increase your chances of drawing into golems. If you want deck thinning with Emhyr you'd be better off loading up on emissaries and vicovaro novices, but then you aren't leveraging that with impera brigades so I DUNNO BRUH YOUR DECK IS WEIRD
Jaxson Fisher
>not winning 1st round >not draining ng to the last card in 2d >not winning in 3rd with just 2 cards
Brandon Wood
>Winning against nelf
Good meme
Joseph Edwards
git gud my man
Jack Hernandez
I can't because Ng exists currently
Jaxon Cook
I'd rather take thoughtful games against NG over weatherspammingretards desu
Jace Wood
>spell control fag gets a mirror match and has no idea what to do
spicy
Robert Torres
>I'd rather take overpowered cancer over free wins
t. you
Easton Cooper
>cahir >regis >draug
haha gr8 pack thanks
Grayson Collins
>see first card is a monster legendary and get just sort of happy because I rarely play monster >flip the card and it's fucking Imlerith from the starter deck >fucking seething opening the other cards >turns out the fifth pick was a gold too
now that was a hell of a ride the other two picks were priscilla and royal decree
Noah Williams
Hey, you take that draug and you fucking be happy with it. I had a legendary pick of a duplicate starter, a duplicate starter, and Bloody Baron. That is going to haunt me for years unless next patch they change it so BB doubles his power every time an enemy is killed.
Carson Collins
Is the deck even good?
David Perry
>they finally add based Leo in gwent >its a gimmick reveal effect damn
Dylan Watson
If by good you mean cancer, then yes. It's literally just 20 special cards and those elves that boost themselves whenever a special card is played.
Luke Cruz
don't forget saskia and roach
Thomas Barnes
Reveal's pretty decent as far as gimmick decks go. You get a good amount of thinning with imperial golems and the 4 power infantry which also helps you take round 1, then you just chill until round 3 and play footsie until you're down to spotter spotter ADC-spotter. It's all I play in ranked because I haven't crafted anything so I ain't gots no gigni or gold weather and just have my keg-opened Bonbon and Vattier.
Nolan Ortiz
>Playing Queensguard >Despite mullagining hard for them, I have no revives in Round 3 >Nilf plays Tibor >Draw a priestess and win
Thanks Tibor :^)
Samuel Perez
but my deck is built to fight NG and has almost no weather clearing
Isaiah Roberts
PRAISE BE TO THE GREAT SUN!
Jack Hill
Coming up to 800 scraps. Going to craft my first golden either:
RNR or G:Igni. Having trouble deciding.
-RNR Pros: >If left unchecked can easily win a round >Up to 9 damage a turn in best cast scenario Cons: >Easily removed >Easily minimized by row stacking
Igni Pros: >Targeted Scorch >Easily make big swings Con: >Might be hard to make incredibly useful >Can be a dead draw
Joseph Cruz
>shadowverse devs give players 46 free packs and double rewards for daily missions for two weeks >all this just weeks before the release of a new expansion How can Gwent even compete?
Eli Johnson
You might want to add "Has warped the meta to the point where everyone is running a million weather clears" to the RNR cons. Unless you're already running a weather deck, just sticking one RNR in actually won't be massively useful. It feels like you're better off ignoring gold weather when deckbuilding unless you're putting both in or running other weathers too, because otherwise you'll probably just get like 6-9 damage and then it gets cleared for a gold card.
Hunter Morales
RNR is best played when you are still ahead even after they clear it right?
Jason Murphy
>How can Gwent even compete? No anime, actually a good game, 2+ packs a day even without a promo, won't get you arrested for pedophilia in third world countries like Canada and the UK.
Lucas James
>actually a good game Lost me there.
Levi Smith
I was thinking about playing a Weather Monsters deck once I finally beat the Dagon challenge but I really just want an all purpose Golden.
But yeah you do have a good point, it's easily gonna get fucked in this meta.
I've got no idea. I'd guess I'd play it somewhere in the mid to late once they've established board and hope they don't have anything to clear it with.
Jaxon Martin
6-9 damage + value of a bronze card tis alright for a gold
Austin Garcia
Why are you people complaining about weather monsters, they're not even THAT good.
Brayden Campbell
They're annoying to play against.
Cooper Taylor
because newfriends will always complain about weather 1) its popular starter deck because cool effects 2) they dont know how to counter it
Ryder Jones
people always get upset at cards that kill their units
few seem to mind when the other guy can shit out huge units
Kevin Ramirez
>weather braindead bot is by far the hardest braindead bot really tells everything you need to know about it
Logan Phillips
whats the better budget for monsters?
hunt or pure weather?
Nathaniel Flores
What would be a non-annoying deck to play against?
Isaiah Ward
>play Emissary turn 1 round 1 and hit a Medic for a grand total of -1 points >opponent immediately gets a connection error that gives me +53 mmr and a rank up baited
