Should I get a Honda Civic or a Toyota Prius?

Should I get a Honda Civic or a Toyota Prius?

I'd get Civic

Depends.

Do you hate yourself? If yes then get the Prius.

Do you hate yourself but also enjoy driving just a tad bit? Get the Civic

>New
Civic
>Used
Mazda 3

neither. get the 2018 Honda Fit, rated best back to school car in America.

get a mazda 3 user

Wait for the 2019 Mazda3 and enjoy HCCI goodness.

this.
/thread

Quit being a cuck and buy a used sports car instead of financing a new shitbox.

>Letting yourself be a guinea pig for new engine technology

Wait 3 years or get an extended warranty

I'm currently looking into getting a new civic

civic for 3k

chevy volt if you're spending around 14k

I have a Prius C, it's the funnest car to drive. Regularly get 70mpg too

Get a Civic OP

Don't want to hijack your thread but I just bought a 2017 Civic LX Hatchback for $21,788 OTD. I got them to throw in some all weather floor mats but feel like I still got ripped off. Great car though.

>buying the new civic
kys cuck. you could've gotten a much more interesting car for 21k

>no turbo 4 Mazda3
>no v6 Mazda6
The only flaw with the current gen.

Not OP, but I'm looking into getting a new civic lx to drive for about 200k+ miles, and then get a cheap electric car in like a decade(s)

What would you suggest? I thought about getting a Mazda MX-5, but I just wanted to get a car with good MPG to get to and from work. I live in California so gas prices here are insane.

Paid $21k for mine too. I love this car and would buy it again if i had to. Only regret was not getting the Sport.

leave california (unless your a shitskin)

dumb question but OTD = out the door? Taxes, title, and transport fees?

>oh noes muh gas
why didn't you buy a volt or prius if you care so much about gas mileage? driving a car you want > gas mileage

Yes

hideous trash.

>not that guy but
>42+ mpg highway
>0-60 in 7 sec
>apple carplay/android auto
>decent handling
>heated seats, moon roof, all the nice features, and fucking based lanewatch camera on the passenger side mirror that shows your blind spot
Paid 22k OTD for my 2016 EXT last year and it's pretty great so far.
Kinda wish I would have gotten the v6 Accord Touring, but I was moving 700 miles for my first real job and 30k was a bit too risky for me.

you basically bought an uglier riced out crosstour.

Nice man. I got the Sonic Grey as well. I also kind of wished I went for the Sport too. Those dual exhaust tips complement the appearance of the car really well, but I couldn't find a sport model in Sonic Grey.

Yeah I get you. But I actually really like the Civic Hatch. I would probably opt for the Miata as a weekend car and not a daily driver.

Yeah the crosstour looks pretty neat too

>mfw i got a focus st for less than that
>mfw i torque steer into a tree

>buys an unreliable shitbox for less than a civic
>brags about it

you both could've gotten v6 accords for 15-20k used.

nope. civic turbo has better gas mileage and IMO looks better.

>nope. civic turbo has better gas mileage and IMO looks better.
>and IMO looks better.
>looks better.

hmmm civic hatchback 18 or 17?

All Prius drivers are overgrown rectal tumors. Do you want to be an overgrown rectal tumor, OP?

how did u noe

>the only flaw
>not the overall design and catering towards normies with that stupid design
>no 2014+ mazdaspeed3

Mazda needs to go back to the previous gen design and quit catering to soccer moms
