There is literally no reason to run a diesel that rich. They're lean by design. There should be a little soot at WOT, but not a giant cloud of it.

That said, if petrol cars were outlawed tomorrow I would probably go find myself a 300TD wagon. That or swap an EE20 into my scoob.

I'm fairly sure that buying a new electric car is less environmentally friendly than buying an old gas car, manufacturing cars take up resources and pollutes yo.
