will i still be allowed to post on /dbt/ is i were to buy myself pic related? it's what i can currently afford. or am i better off staying nobike?

It depends on the bike and what you mean by possible, you can put a 1299 panigale engine in a grom, anything's possible, doesn't mean it will be easy or a good idea. You need to elaborate more if you want an actual answer.

just why is it so much fun to take a sportbike offroad
dunno,as always I don't have time for anything. This was pretty much the only week of riding I did this year
Gavin Richardson
Silly dumb squid scum.
Andrew Lee
fuk
Gavin Russell
Just a guess: boomer took corner too slowly, line took him off that one inch drop at the edge of the pavement and he dropped it because the bike is 900 lbs, second one attempted to pull over and help and also fell victim to the tiny drop.
Tl;Dr >cruiserlosers
Caleb Green
IDK but it's even more fun when you're around normies that think for some reason it's impossible for a sport bike to leave pavement.
Tyler Cooper
t b h pham it still sounds shit compared to aprilia's v4s
Brayden Wood
What bike? what engine look at ADV rider a lot of engine swaps have been done there, mostly to dirt bikes though
btw the snow wasn't as bad as to a year prior with the MT07

true not that offroad but rather a dirtroad. did overtake some GSA and even a KTM SE. Truth to be told, no good riders on these bikes, but street bikes are a lot more capable than most people think
Kayden Rogers
I thought the same thing when I heard it, I noticed in all the press mumbo jumbo they mentioned something about a different firing order than traditional V4s so that's probably why. I also noticed it was going to be an 1100, so what's the point of it if it sounds like shit, can't compete in WSBK, and isn't any more powerful than their old 1200 twins?

Aprilia RS4 50 (2 stroke) with a 4 stroke engine (don't know which one yet, but probably from a similarly built bike).

The first Harley was so thigg that the gravity pulled the second one towards it

what the fuck is wrong with people

the real problem was the low ground clearance. Did hit the Oilpan once or twice while on these dirt roads Was on my way to a farmer up in the mountains to get some cheese.
Gavin Jackson
Should go fine assuming you get a similar sized(
Isaac Gonzalez
how bad were you guys on your first day riding? just completed my CBT (compulsory basic training) and now im road legal for a 125cc but on the training day I had 1 near crash and locked up my back wheel on a duel carriageway and skidded along for a bit. It's thrown me a bit and im unsure whether motorbikes are for me
Ryder Torres
50cc is all I can have, sadly. Might as well try and make it sound half decent.
Lincoln Hernandez
yep. as long as there aren't steep hills or big logs and rocks a street bike can go most places a dirt bike can, only much slower.
Jayden Ward
4-strokes generally make much less power per displacement than 2-strokes, so you will lose a lot of power by swapping it.
My first day riding I was on a 50cc Honda mini trail that my dad hadn't taught me how to shift out of first gear, I hit my sandbox and launched myself over the handle bars, then drove it into a small creek by my house.
That's retarded, a 50cc 4 stroke will sound much worse and have so little power it can't get out of it's own way. Stick to the two stroke.
Alexander Kelly
Had some sketchy things happen during training. The first day or two was alright but a little sketchy. After that I got used to the bike. Take it to a parking lot and practice maneuvering it to get a feel for your bike
Grayson White
>they make engine noises with their mouth as part of the song kek

Mason Reyes
I'm ok with it. I don't like going fast. Trying to find ways to cope with riding a bike with low eyesight. Safer for me and everyone else.
Austin Walker
>The first day or two was alright but a little sketchy first day or two of training? for us it's just one day of training then you can get on the road. I'd like to get used to maneuvering it a bit more but by far my biggest issue was shifting down gears (this was when i near skidded out) so I need a decent stretch of empty road to properly practice
user I doubt you're going to listen to this because you sound like you're just looking for an echo chamber, but don't do it, you will waste a ton of time an money and end up with a worse bike, if you want a worse bike just sell yours and buy one.
Nicholas Taylor
50cc four stroke is like a lawnmower engine lmao two stroke engines by definition are more efficient than 4 strokes, don't replace your engine with something even worse
Brayden Baker
Hey /dbt/ Why are there literally no ads for motorcycles anywhere? I have NEVER seen any on TV or anywhere in my city
is it the fucking car lobby?
Levi Morgan
I don't plan on doing it right away. Only after riding the bike for a couple of years and after much thinking on whether or not it's worth it. For now, I'm just checking my possibilities. Thank you for the advice.
Xavier Adams
what is the point, tv ad space is expencive as fuck and the number of people buying bikes is so tiny the ROI is non existant.
to if you spend X on adverts you need to increase your sales by at least X+1. This will not happen with a tv advert for motorbikes.
exeptions being: 1: harley who can sell a brand/lifestyle to yanks, see 2: honda, who can thow a bike into a car advert
William Long
Motorcycles are advertisements for themselves, you don't see ads for Ferrari or McLaren, because they don't need one, they have there own sex appeal, you see one and hear one and your dick gets hard and you want one.
Ryder Hall
that makes those bikes look awkward as fuck, what is with the chicken arms?
Joseph Sanders
tfw gonna watch friend race his modded '15 R1 against a '09 R1 with NOS brand NOS

My first day riding my first bike (300 cbr) after doing the msf course I had my buddy on his 600rr following me around for an hour on residential streets. By the second hour I was so excited and got my confidence and we ended up cruising around all day. It still took me a couple weeks to get good at 90degree turns off of streets where traffic is going at 40+ mph tho.

These ads are the reason why I have a MT series bike
>he describes the various upgrades to the bike—including a Brocks Performance Stage 2 package, a Guhl ECU flash, and an MC Cycle Works intercooler—but notes that the engine and supercharger remain stock.

Because that's the easiest way to expand. Buy a company and you'll gain the knowledge and customer base without doing anything basically.
Tyler Gutierrez
I think I heard they made it the same firing order as i4's which is dumb as hell.
And nobody cares about WSBK except Kawasaki
Justin Bell
FAMAS, any model
Adam Carter
I cant stand the eyes man. I want to love it so much, and then I see those doofus peepers.
Real talk, Ninja 300 if you want something smol, or get a 650 twin. Those are your two best bets. 650 twins make less power than 600 4 cylinders, but make more torque so it's more linear and you don't have to rev the piss out of it. There's also the Honda CBR500 which is nice, about the same power as a 300 but slightly more, and more torquier. They look cool too.
>Ninja 300 >SV650 >Ninja 650 >CBR 500
All of these can be had for cheap used on craigslist and will serve you well. Take the MSF if you can, try not to die. Remember that drivers are retarded and can't see you. Seriously, I know everyone says that and it's kind of a cliche meme but it's very true. People will try and merge into you.
If you want to start on a 600 or 1000, you shouldn't. Im not your dad tho, do what you want. It's just fucking dumb. I watched a dude with no license flip his 1000cc bike last week and almost die, so basically don't be that guy.
Why tho? Stop being poor
Nathaniel Morales
People have way worse bikes on here, as long as it's not a scooter you're good.
>Lowes crashes 4 Aprilia's in one weekend >Race hasn't even started >Going to finish last or second last anyways fuck this guy
Jaxon Parker
>FZ10 >twist throttle >first gear >flip over backwards >second gear >flip over backwards going slightly faster >third gear >flip over backwards going even faster, bike totaled >fourth gear >flip over backwards and probably require a helicopter to the hospital
Then
>approach corner >enter corner >twist throttle to transfer weight to rear tire >suddenly going WAY TOO FAST for the handling the bike offers >somehow don't crash >glory be the gods >wheelie uncontrollably up to 150 mph >set front tire down >wind rips you off of the bike because zero wind protection >bike flips over backwards as soon as you're off
Pretty much the story of every naked bike that has a Moto GP motor in it.
