All the Nourishing gems I'm getting have Durability Down. This wouldn't be much of an issue if it weren't for a Boom Hammer.
I'm considering gemming the thing for three Durability Down gems for a one-shot wonder in FC.

I believe it was established that dura down doesn't stack. So if you can handle one, three will be the same.

I think dura down caps at one hit per durability point lost, so it should last fairly long in fc considering the average fight lasts ~3 hits

I love Isz in general and the room size has never been a problem but I agree that something better could be found. Loran is nice, just a big too dark. Ambient sparks would be dope.

In similarity of how you play, it goes like this

BB - DaS3 - DeS - DaS - DaS2

BB and DaS2 are on opposite sides of the spectrum.

I feel a noticeable advantage when playing Isz because I have a fuckton of stamina and people can't back off as much. At Loran and Pthu people use the pillar/cart to get cover and force me into their rhythm, which is nice.

Not to mention Gregor positioning himself by the pilar in a way my weapon would bounce off but not his was one of the best things I've experienced. Something like this is impossible at Isz.

I find easier to get to NG+ to complete the dungeon needed, since you can buy almost everything and open Isz right away (sure, you'll still need the root chalices you're looking for and the haze extractor).
