Passive weapon skills are a left-over from the old days, all humans get it even priests, despite the fact that priests couldn't train or wear swords.
Leveling isn't fun
pre 100 just try them all out and see what you like
once it comes to choosing an artifact, i would recommend affliction
is the strongest dps and survivbility, plus there is almost zero downtime thanks to lifetap for mana and drain soul/maleficent grasp for hp

Destro is relatively fun to level, it's a lot more involving than demo, that's for sure
just be sure to get the talent that allows your incinerate to hit more than 1 target

No. Priests cant use any swords. You can use: Daggers, Wands, Staves, Maces and Offhands like Tomes for example.

What would happen if they reverted the world content back to Classic/BC levels of difficulty?
I know people like to believe that it would spell doom for the game but an ethnic cleansing might not be such a bad idea. People didn't love vanilla, BC, and wrath because of the content alone, the relationships you formed while working toward level cap and then doing end game together was a big part of it.
