Need a new appliance car

Appliance car aka the boring bossy ben.
>Automatic
>4 door sedan or hatch
>Doesn't need to be fast
>Just needs to be roomy and not complete shit to sit in
>Has to cost about 5k in cash or 15k financed (Not spending 30+k on an appliance car)

Figured i'd still ask here and not reddit.

the nicest Civic or Corolla you can find

Get a diesel golf or passat or something.
i have a diesel skoda octavia which is just a golf underneath and it's a great daily.
55mpg without even trying and fun enough to not want to kill myself.

post you local craigslist. why do you want an automatic?

2008 Accord

solid choice here

I'd add 08-09 Subaru Legacy to the list. these are dirt cheap now a day.

Toyota Camry

>Appliance car aka the boring bossy ben.
Get a grocerymobile (Corolla) or a grocerymobile plus (Camry)

Crown Vic

>Automatic
>4 door sedan
>Not fast
>Ridiculously roomy and comfy, can swap in Town Car seats for bonus points
>5k cash will get you a grandma-owned cream puff or a Marquis/Town Car

...

Since OP probably values comfort and has the funds, I reckon he should get a low mileage, old-person owned Town Car or GM. Came here to recommend the same thing though.

I think OP wants something that gets high mpg's.

I'd be going for an accord or similar. Something with a 4 banger and a known reliable automatic trans.

Honda Element

Bad for multiple people b/c suicide doors but great SUV if you move a lot of shit and dont wanna exceed a regular 70mph

>pic related
mine

Correct
Only time I exceed 70 mph would be highway driving but that's not regularly required for my life.
Most days I don't go over 50 mph.

>Crown Vic
>08+ Accords
>Any Lexus eg. ES350 GS30

why people recommend crown vic?
>look like a cop or white trash
>terrible fuel economy
>treated like shite by cops and idled hundreds of hours

You can find these for $6k at 40k miles all day

I'm not american but it looks like a modern day land barge

So where are you from

Dealer or craigslist deals?

I'm ok with either option.

Australia. We have statesmans for landbarges. But they're LS based which is even better.
