EWGF is basically impossible.

I KNEW something was off about the graphics that made T6 seemingly look better. T6 had motion blur.
PC version gives the option to turn it on but it's off by default. I am once again comfy.

is it harder to do EWGF in Tekken 7?
I can do it consecutively on Tag 2 on PS3 and even T6 on PPSSPP?

Motion Blur makes the screen look like shit.

It's a one frame directional input. It isn't mean to be easy.

Speaking personally, I would leave that shit to the Koreans. Pulling off EWGFs in practice mode is one thing but doing it consistently in a match is just too stressful.

What's the trick to Kazuya's hellsweep? It's the same input as a WGF but with 4 instead of 2 yet nothing happens

I don't know much about information already discovered in the series since the last one I played was 6, but I've been experimenting with damage scaling resets and wondered if anyone has discovered anything on the topic or if I'm extremely late to the party.

This does a shit ton more combo than not getting the reset obviously.

Consensus. The best 10 or 15 move for each character reveal themselves pretty quickly because people know what sorts of moves function well in Tekken.

Always be buffering GS or ISW. You don't have to use it but keep it at the ready nonetheless.

Don't forget about his great punishment game and his other command throws. Throws like muscle buster lead to unique high damage combos in floor break situations.

My personal opinion is that King actually requires a lot of mechanical skill to play. He is highly dependent on character knowledge and smooth movement execution to play well.

THE EASIEST COMBOS

i use a really beat-up sfiv te stick (all factory sanwa shit), it doesn't feel as tight as most seimitsu sticks i've played with, and i can throw out ewgf at a really good rate despite not even really being a mishima player (but i've practiced ewgf a good bit in earlier tekkens)

my first line of advice would be to just practice the shit out of it, because every time in the past i thought my woes were stick/pad related it turned out i just needed to put in that grind time

You're probably trying to do the input really fast instead of doing it precisely. The EWGF is accomplished by inputting the df and then pressing rp within a frame after. It doesn't matter how fast you do the entire input if you're not doing literally those two parts only in that frame of time.

To help, focus your timing on your transition from d to df; press rp during this transition to better understand the timing and how the entire input works as a whole. This is what enables different types of dashing EWGFs, but also explains why there's a difference between a PEWGF and a EWGF. A PEWGF is done in the shortest amount of time possible, which also implies the only part of the input that matters for the timing is the df being done with rp.
