Holy shit OP is a mong. Any sort of major insurance claims requires the insurer's contracted repair place to first do an inspection of the damage so they can assess the total cost, and whether it's cheaper to repair the car or write it off.
When this happens they're gonna see (almost immediately) that this isn't the result of a shitty wheel job, and if you don't come clean soon, you'll be done for insurance fraud.

Also you've made your dad look like an absolute fool by blowing off on the mechanic, because the truth is going to come out eventually.
