Use your glide too. It's hard to hit something that's constantly snapping around to her teammates and using her glide in an erratic manner.

For lack of a better word, there's a knack to 1HKOing with Hanzo.

You have to place the scatter arrow just right to do it and he can't drop all tanks like that. It's also incredibly easy to fuck up. Most of the time it'll be a 2HKO.

Hanzo is also very fragile and typically easy to punish for fucking up.

Roadhog doesn't compare.

I just had a game where a Hanzo and a Widow partied together did exactly this on the same map and lost us the game. Both were Russians,

It almost feels like there's some sort of cut-out point, right where diamond begins. People with diamond (or higher) MMR don't seem to lose their standing, but people below them do.
