It was literally agreed upon after the Eggman themed #700, you fool. It was Eggman for 700, Knuckles for 800 someone suggested Amy for 900 & maybe Super Sonic for 1000.

SEGA put a mandate on the comics not allowing such a thing to occur, so I would assume he won't in the games either.

Milestone threads are dumb anyway, having a theme is just a bit of fun and can potentially get some theme specific art out of it.
Key word being potentially, it's not like people are locked in to a specific theme - think of it more as a suggestion for people who want to contribute but aren't sure what.

We can do it like the onlynpics where they decide the host a few years out. We can have a vote after 800 to decide who gets 1100 and then a vote for 1200 after 900.

I like milestone threads, but having them be character oriented is boring and instead of making them feel like something special and about us, it makes them feel like just another thread. I'd rather have variety over specific art of a character I might not care about.
Another thing that bothers me is how faggots like say "it was agreed upon", when it was hastily imposed by 3 or 4 people.
