Lower Pthumeru, my mistake. But yeah, I'm doing no damage except for the blood sac on its back, and consistently getting one-shotted. And I'm fucking BL 65, which I thought should be plenty high enough.

Lower Pthumeru is where the difficulty ramps up, if you're a BLT/ARC you can take him on easily if you're STR/SKL you'd have to dash in then dodge after getting a hit in. I suggest 40 VIT before doing the dungeons further.

You should have figured out by now that it's actually wiser to not lock on when fighting especially large or tall enemies. Things like Cleric Beast, Laurence, Darkbeasts and even the Watchdog of the Old Lords can fuck your camera all the way up.
