I'm in the market for a 2004 Toyota Solara CD player with bluetooth or an aux in. I have put in my own stereos and speakers before so I can do the work myself. I just want to make sure I buy something that is compatible, the only aftermarkets I am finding are for the camry. Will a camry CD player work? Thanks for the help guys.

get an aux adapter that plugs into the back of the oem radio.
Is that my best option? I have the money to upgrade, I guess that would save me some money just sticking a aux in.
>He doesn't have Android Auto/CarPlay
that's the best option period. aftermarket head units all look like shit. With an adapter you get to keep the oem aesthetic, especially if you install it flush.
Don't listen to this autist Do you have a single DIN slot or a double?
I am not sure I want to say double, this is what's in there now.
ebay.com
Pic related it what I have stock.
Yeah, that looks like a double din, so what features do you want in a head unit?
I'm looking for Bluetooth connectivity and auxiliary input. I can live without aux in, but I really want something that will connect to my phone with Bluetooth.
What's your budget?
bluetooth is shit. keep the oem head unit. If you must have bluetooth get a 3.5mm bluetooth dongle.
>Bluetooth is shit
>get this peripheral that will make it even worse!
250 USD is max budget. I plan to get speakers at a later date.
why do you want bluetooth so bad?
Here you go, has Bluetooth/AUX on front panel and HD Radio tuner built-in
walmart.com
>that hideous aftermarket trash
literally any 2 din headunit will work, they usually have little adapter plates that go around the side to get rid of any gaps if you want.
Go find a website that sells headunits and select the box that says 2 din/double din (amazon.com
You'd rather I recommended a gawdy DVD unit? Jesus Christ you're a pleb
>keeping obsolete tech because muh aesthetics (IN A FUKKIN TOYOTA)
>no HD Radio
Into the trash
it's 15 pages of different options user
I presented a unit with good aesthetics, upper model range (eXcelon), with better features directly
You gave him trash
you can add an aux jack with the original. that's all he needs. bluetooth is a meme. audio quaity is meh and it kills your device battery faster. all because you're too lazy to plug in a cable?
>not being a 17 year old girl
Apple cargay is shit
I didn't see what you posted till after, you're right that's a really good choice though. Definitely worth it to go with a quality unit. I didn't link to a specific unit cause I know its subjective what he'll like
What's funny is anyone that has reviewed those units all say that CarPlay was designed as an after thought compared to Android Auto
This is truth. I used to have an aftermarket bt headunit and after a couple months realized using the aux in was infinitely better every time. Faster too.
Bluetooth is T R A S H
Was your radio from 2006? No wonder it was fucking trash you moron
suck my dick senpai
You're like a little babby, watch this

If you had one, silly faggot
>I used to have a sniffy attitude toward receivers. To me, they were a compromise product for the kind of listener who wouldn't or couldn't be bothered with the superior sound of separate components. But as I looked into the details of the MAC6700 stereo receiver, my attitude took a serious hit. That's because McIntosh has clearly designed this beast of a receiver to deliver performance every bit as stunning as their separate amps, preamps, and tuners, only with the convenience of a single chassis. And they provided all the inputs needed for music lovers to enjoy their favorite analog and digital sources.
Well shit user this is obviously what op needs. Why did anybody waste time with other suggestions when this was here the whole time?
lel, I didn't even read the reviews that's a good one
For phone calls not for music.
Thank you.
Thank you user.
Thank you too.
The blue tooth is more for calls less for listening to music.
Way out of my range here's a (you).
For over 6G it better be good lol.
