What's the problem? They are simple and easy to work on. Just clean them once every few months or so to avoid shit getting gummed up.

My Dad's 15 fiesta has them. My own 93 Ranger has rear drums.

I think most prius' have rear drums. A lot of toyota tacoma's still have rear drums. I'm fairly certain that Ford and Dodge HD trucks come with drums. And of course semis and one ton + trucks have them.

Have you ever actually opened one up? Discs are 900,000 times easier to work on and much simpler.

They're not as retard proof as discs but the thing everyone gets nervous about is pulling the springs, after that it's just understanding how it came apart. The first time I did drum brakes was one night drunk, both rears all the way down to the wheel cylinders. It's not rocket science.

Not really, mine are not sharp enough to break traction in a 3100lbs car.

I only hate them for the slight extra amount of work needed to replace them.
