What's the difference between an inline four and a v-twin of the same displacement? Generally speaking.
I4 will put out more power and consume a bit more fuel.
Typically v twins are tuned for low end grunt
Also the smaller cylinders on an i4 can rev higher

How can I stop my forks from leaking for long enough to trick someone into buying my bike?
get a bit of plastic, like from a coke bottle and use that to remove the dirt inside the fork seal which is causing the leak.
its actually a legit fix for leaking seals, 9 times out of 10 they aren't actually damaged.
cut the bit of plastic to look like this btw, hook on the end will help grab the dirt

1098 is notorious for getting tank slappers if you put the front end down wrong after a wheelie which you will do a lot on a 1098 without even trying.
