How did you feel when you beat Alonne without taking damage? If you haven't done it, why the fuck not? It's the best feeling I've had in a souls game. Beating Gwyn for the first time, artorias, any dragons, nothing compares to this feeling of sheer glee.

Do you just get discouraged or disappointed when you play through the first few areas? Because normally for me, if you push through that feeling and complete you build the rest of the game is fun.

When I play DS3, I try to rush through the boring and annoying parts to get to the good parts.

In DS2 it feels like all you do is try to rush through the 'shit parts' because so many of the transition levels are crap.

There are some good levels in DS2, the stretch to Lost Sinner feels like the best Old One fork because Wharf, Fotfg and Bastille are the best designed DS2 levels in my opinion.

I shelved DS2 for like a year after playing it because I felt so fatigued after playing through it once that I went back to playing DS1 on and off. Then DS3 came out and I played that until I got PS4 and BB.

I might get the DS2 DLCs at some point but I never had any incentive to buy Softs because I'd rather buy new games.

Aldrich is crazy easy to max due to how active it is. Watchdogs is easy to farm because of how there are two places where you can easily farm Ghrus next to bonfires.

I'll get whichever ends up being cheaper when I have the money. I have a lot of games on my backlog and the idea of buying DS2 again isn't really that entertaining when I have other games to play at the moment and essentially I'd only buy DS2 to play the DLCs.
