HAHA TIME TO POST JAPAN

At least these guys have shields

First they ditched shields
Then they ditched crossbows

Anything but Wood Elves is fine.

Why use crossbows when you have guns?

>dorfs win badlands bowl yet again
I just want a huge Greenskin horde to come marching up, is that so much to ask
Nerf dawi

Update on Karl Franz Ascendant mod I'm working on.

I've got Lord of Thunder in the skill tree, and as an ability, but for whatever reason it's not dropping a lightning bolt. Once I get that done, I'll have fully made SLA's that cast for free. I'll start making them for Gelt to improve his gold tree.

I'm also considering other skills for KFA. I'm thinking a battlefield mod buff, a buff and a debuff. But I wouldn't know what would be loreful.

They ditched crossbows before they got the teppo

Krell could be a standard bearer. He'd pin it on his horns and have both arms free.

Get a mod.

You know what i hate about fucking warhammer. It feels like everything is always stronger then me. In other total war games if the odds were 50/50 i can come out on top most of the time. Im saying this as somebody who is obviously not an expert at the actual battles. But in the other games i was always able to make do and overcome cause its still an AI. But now some random fucking group of beastmen that spawned just cause it was time to in a providence that has no issues have one fucking unit that can kill 49085749850495849058 of mine without taking a scratch even when catch it out alone.

Morale is shit and breaks instantly no matter how much leadership i have and i go into every fight feeling no matter how much maneuvering or positioning i try im just gonna accomplish fucking nothing cause of these god monsters that take no damage.

I think im just gonna take a break from this one and come back later. Its making me salty as hell since i have to rely on the auto resolve 90% of the time and hope the dice roll in my favor.

Why does everybody hate Belegor Ironhammer in my campaigns? He gets gangraped by everyone around him every game and Estalia ends up wiping him the fuck out almost 80% of the time when it isnt Tree Hitler.

don't play on legendary

Will CA add Amazons?

...

...

...

Don't post Kirishitan scum though

There is probaby a decent chance of that

>Jap wood elves in england and the northern part of the iberian peninsula.

...

AI only use autoresolve and they can't cheese with ethereal heroes

>Japs were literally seen as backwater wood elves by mainland Asia

Im playing on normal. What am i supposed to do when i send 4 "anti large" Calvary at one cygore and have them lose.

Or how about "charge defense vs large foes" infantry that all get blown the fuck out by one charging minotar group. fail to kill any of them and flee 5 seconds later.

Why even bother playing human forces when they are useless and outclassed by everything that just spawns from nowhere?

...

sound like you just suck then

What faction are you playing? Empire?

>every Belegor campaign
>grind it out early game
>finally conquer Crooked Moon
>fuckingnailedit.jpg
>start building up forces
>begin sending expeditions to Badlands
>Chaos invasion starts
>three full stacks beeline straight for me
>good armies are stuck in the Badlands trying to get through Grimgor
>all territory quickly becomes molten chaos waste
>Badland expeditions can't conquer Eight Peaks because bankrupt

feels bad man

...

>What am i supposed to do when i send 4 "anti large" Calvary at one cygore and have them lose.

4 is ineffective because there is only so many models hitting the cygor. Try sending fewer and give them a buff or two.

> about "charge defense vs large foes" infantry that all get blown the fuck out by one charging minotar group. fail to kill any of them and flee 5 seconds later.

They need support. They will do good with some supports. That is often the case with human armies. E.G you can let your handgunners shoot the minos while your halberds hold them off. They will die in no time.

...

...

sorry buddy, literally nobody has those problems except you. So ask yourself, is it because of the game, or because of you. Seriously man, if you cannot handle normal difficulty, then might as well go check for a brain tumor

...

hi user, you must be retarded

it's like he thinks that a single unit of spear which cost way less and upkeep way less than minotaur is supposed to win

One of the knights shoved me into the fight! I'm not worthy...

So it's turn 110, Archaon has just appeared properly. Should I wipe out the Undead first or just head north and go full HON HON HON?

When the errantry war kicks in I'm reckon I'll start on that mess of greenskins.

Best legendary campaign I've had so far.

...

Should I be running a Corpse Cart or a Mortis Engine?

...

Finnish the Undead, they look like they're almost finished anyway

Mortis Engine is more expense but does a lot more and can be used as a combat unit. Corpse Cart is slow and vulnerable but has good buffs.

...

>fav Total War game
>top 3 things you like in it
>top 3 things you dislike in it

You're right user. VLAD just got GREENED by 4 stacks of Grimgor & friends. Manlet only has Wurtbad left. It looks like we're about to get waves of orcs and Chaos on the same time.

>REJOICE FOR A KNIGHT OF BRETONNIA PROVIDES YOUR SHIELD

Basically everyone else is dead.

Except Karak Norn and the Tree-niggers.

...

When the NEW MEME kicks in.

...

TILEA WHEN

>fav
Rome 1
>good
its very straight forward
unit mass and charges feel so right
units are easy as fuck to identify thanks to no historical accuracy whatsoever in their color design
>bad
AI is trash, specially siege and diplomatic AI
Campaign is too easy
Maneuvering in city walls and streets is a nightmare

...

Fuck, posted in old thread.

OK,so I went north. In the meantime, Chaos Warriors have arrived. And now I just noticed that they're at war with Skaeling (which got rid of all other norscan tribes). Now this would explain why the Empire (which confederated Ostland a turn before I razed Altdorf) is still alive. Fucking chaos warriors are probably fucking around in Norsca. Just what the fuck is going on in this game?

>playing medieval 2 as britain
>conquer the island and move onto france
>suddenly denmark, the reich, the spaniards, the fucking danish and the frenchies all wage war on me
>ohnoyoudont.tapestry
>conquer half of france
>the pope, who is a frenchie, tells me to stop conquering frenchies for 10 turns
>then he dies
>my dude gets elected a pope
>tells me to stop bullying frenchies

this fucking game

...

...

They only need to do these dogs of war pikemen units and then modders can do the rest for Tilea and Estalia. I have hope

please something fun

The AI really hates the player in that game.

>Make vassal
>They have one small settlement and a few units
>My two big armies are still close to their settlement
>Vassal declares war on me

...

Attila

good:
>brutal, violent setting with excellent biblical and apocalyptic undertones
>cavalry is fun as fuck to use even if it makes the game easymode
>almost every faction is fun even if they are shit

bad:
>playing as romans when your settlement is almost destroyed sets your units' melee attack to 1 or 0 on the occasion
>naval combat is garbo and will never be perfected in any total war game
>when your king dies you don't get any more sickass looking leaders

...

They did have support. Granted it was just a normal Lord and not a faction leader. The setup for the fight was had a beast tribe spawn at a southern settlement and the only army down there was a lord and a 13 unit army there to keep the peace and defend. I really could not afford to let them sit there and raid me as money was tight at the moment. So i wanted to try and force them to stop raiding and buy time for the 2-3 turns it took my main army to get down there.

I should mention im playing as bretonnia and it was spearmen at arms. So i know that the melee units are not all that impressive. Its not like i expected them to just outright win no problem. But i would of liked for them to at least look like they put up a fight. But they charged in and smashed all of them without a scratch.

Im still new to the game so i dont have a real idea just 'how' tough the large enemies are. And i expect some bloody battles from time to time. It just sucks when you fight a fight thats "50/50" on the power bar but walk away not even scratching them.

pretty funny how they never moved from the initial design in ~1000 years, they just improved and refined it

Oh, so that's the model the artist was referencing for porn in the top middle.

Attila repeats the politician and family tree names so goddamn much, often using the same picture aswell.
if you want more faces and names gets these two mods respectively. i just hate having 2 characters with the exact same name.

adulthood is when you realise how shitty and primitive japs were for 99% of their history

HEAR MY PROPOSAL MANLING

Just like folding a piece of iron a 1000 times

What mods are you playing with? Looks like some unique leader icons on the map there.

Is it confirmed yet that Surtha Ek will be in Lustria?

welcome to asian "innovation"
every breakthrough they've gotten eventually die out due to muh inheritance

...

I've got quite a few running. I did actually consider making a collection for you all, is it ok if I post that?

steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=938721067

redpill me on muh inheritance
is it like "muh grandfather made armour like this so i will too"?

Of course. Ek is everywhere, Ek is everything.
You could say there is a little bit of Ek in all of us.

something like only the eldest son will get taught on the technique. Or the best apprentice.
The guy could have a random heart attack and woops

I dunno. My dad tells me to do better than him

>Warhammer
>It's my childhood dream come true, the sheer amount of difference between factions, it feels like warhammer.
>magic sucks, sieges are boring, it doesnt have every race (yet)

None of the new TWW2 mechanics will be back-ported to TWW1. But the TWW1 factions will be updated in the combined campaign. So for example the zombie dragon will have a breath attack in the combined map but NOT in the old world only map.

Why is CA so lazy? Would it really be that hard to patch these things into the first game?

ah ye i remember seeing that in jiro dreams of sushi

Oh well that's another story then

Your Knights of the realm will do decent against the minos with a bit of spear support.

You might need to buff your infantry leadership through lord skill and/or units/heroes.

You can also try baiting the minos with some horse archers which will basically keep them out of the battle because they will keep chasing the horse archer(if everything goes as planned that is). Divide and Conquer basically. You can then fuck up the rest of their army in peace.

...

this used to be in the OP right?

when did we remove it?

What two mods, user?

...

I second this

japan is inbred as fuck, pure retardation

It wasn't that exact collection, I just made this one a week or so ago but it's based pretty much on the one that lived in the OP.

I'm ok with it being stuck in there if anyone bothers.

bro why are you complaining about using a subpar army to fight against a beastmen stack. you can always disband some of your units if you can't handle the income and can't beat the stack

If it weren't for the Mongol Invasion Japan wouldn't have invented the concept of yari ashigaru

>Playing Belegar campaign
>Crooked moon makes peace with mutinous hits
>Greenskins confed with them, giving him Grimgor and also Wurrzag

HOW DO I READ THIS

Is there a skipped page or something?

oh sorry im a dumbass.
here
no mods to improve the naval combat that i know of sadly

Dunno

Not that I know of

how to improve Attila's naval combat anyway?
