You have 3 weeks to catch up. Gettting to i900 is really easy (which should be enough for normal/heroic tomb), and the AK grind is not as bad as you think. You can get your weapon to a decent level fast enough.
Theres nothing fun about single target rotation as Shadow. Compounded by an extremely boring 4pc set bonus, and talent balancing that means we're now getting out of Power Infusion and into Mindbender, they've decided to take a steamy wet dump on the spec.
Disc is garbage, was garbage, and shows no signs of being anything other than garbage.
Holy is okay, but not interesting. There are better healers, and more fun healers.

Its a plate spinning spec all about multiple targets and keeping uptime on said targets. Single target right now doesn't even require you to reapply dots, because they'll just be up forever, further limiting the spells you could possibly be using.
