She's a guaranteed bonus unit 1/3 of the time unless they add Veronica or something down the line. That alone is worth it, she can also hold her own pretty well.

I heard the FE4 one has weird pairings such as Julia x Ares. They were ok apparently.

To be fair, units like Niles and Henry are OHKO builds when it comes to their specials (since they have massive fixed damage ignoring WTD and WTA). It's mostly poor design choice, since many units can reach same KO potential without specials, but I get the reasoning behind it.

After experiencing Life and Death I don't want to return to Distant Defense. This build gives me life and I don't even have Renewal on her yet.

Fury is great and one of the best options I think. Keeping Speed +3 can be viable though since many units want to have Fury as well.
Dunno about the B Skill though. Swordbreaker is alright I guess if you really want to counter fast swords (Ryoma, Fury Ike, maybe Lucina) but Lancebreaker may be the better option depending on your team. Quick Riposte would be good but it's rather rare and other units make more out of it.
C Skill can be whatever you need the most. Keeping Fortify Def 3 is absolutely fine.

Special can be Memebow, it's not a bad choice. Bonfire with Fury would be good as well.

Watch as Meg and/or Fiona squeezes in somehow and everyone has another collective "why" like with Gwendolyn. I almost want Meg solely to make an all-female armor team possible, since who knows if Amelia will ever get in as an armor, if at all.
