Welcome back to dry land, you salty sea dog!

I would go with the '89. It looks like it's been better taken care of overall. Is that bubbling on the passenger side of the dash on the '92?
Sorry, but it's not worth that much to me. I'm too much of a bitch to go without cruise control anyway.
I feel like the interior is in better shape on the 89, so $1800 extra on the 92 is paying for basically 8000 miles and an intercooler.
As to the second point, it IS a lot of money for an R32, but I'm kinda broke too, so I need to

and that means a dealer. Montu only imports junkers these days, JDM Auto has super limited inventory, and Jap Classics is hit or miss.
Thank you. Now I need to find out why the MGB won't start despite being moved only two weeks ago. I don't know if it's out of gas or the battery's dead or the starter's fucked up or what. It barely turns over slowly, and then the starter just grinds on the flywheel.
I think it might be the battery, honestly.
On a side note, I was prepared to buy JC's all stock 92 Toyota Aristo 3.0V but someone else beat me to it literally minutes before I called.
That said, I took a look at this Taurus today. Was in pretty good shape, and liked what I experienced. I don't know how people can call that cockpit cramped.

Honestly if it wasn't white I would have tried haggling over it today. Going to be taking a look around at other cars for the next week now, though.
To each their own. I'm the Skyline guy, and it seems we have wildly different opinions on how to spend $17k.
People call the inside of the Taurus cramped?? There's room to hold a banquet inside those things.
I already have a "fun" car. Right now I'm in the market for a comfy DD that I can actually drive in Houston traffic.
Yeah. They said that the big center console makes it really cramped.
