I love Kazumi

Eddy pretty much disappeared from online and I'm pretty baffled. Lucky Chloe completely eclipsed him.

His punishers is super reliable. His poke game is good. His useful moves are just overall solid stuff.
However I feel like he lacks moves that are cheap. Nothing he has stands out as really, really strong like a lot of stuff in this game.

So with Kazumi, if you press back+left punch, then right punch, she has a little one-two punch where she backsteps and then punches the enemy, and it seems like a really good move for how tricky it is because the initial backstep is just enough to make some attacks whiff, but can I actually follow this up with anything for a combo, or is it just a tool to reset to neutral and close distance? I can't seem to get anything to link after it

You usually use b, f, 2,1,1+2 as a combo ender.

Kazumi does not have a lot of options. You can beat her simply by knowing how to answer the little she has. Kazumi players have to rely almost exclusively to fundamentals.

Nothing wrong with it. It is no different that using a focus attack cancelled into an Ultra in SF. Plus, there are all kinds of ways to beat a raw rage art.

Hit them with an attack that will kill them through their armor.
You can bait and block it then punish.
You can play defensively and only toss out safe punishes.
You can run out the clock.
You can get them to low health, just not enough for rage, then hit them with a high damage combo that kills them, never giving them access to their RA at all.
Etc.

In short, only scrubs complain about RAs.

Just learn like..at least 2 combo strings before going online with your character, good lord.

The unblockables are, for the most part, super slow and you pretty much want to avoid them at all costs. As for an opening move, you'll want to do something safe, that leaves you on plus frames. However! A lot of the time, just by looking at who your opponent is using, you can try to predict what THEY will do first and go for the counter. I usually find predicting to be relatively easy online since so many people use the same characters and do the same things.

What character are you maining? Might be able to suggest something.
