doesn't it go from 8 to 6 seconds with quest completion? which is still a little too long to maintain it by purely poke with your E with the 16 quest

Go for the hero hitting quest unless you have a friend setting up the waves for you to dunk.

The E talent at 20 increases it's duration slightly enough so that it almost has 100% uptime.

I also take W range at 1 which helps keep the trait up on people if there happens to be downtime.

So unless Im laning will Jaina or Guldan, dont bother? Makes sense.

Seems like on many maps you can win all the objectives, but then you look up and his global minions have dropped as many, or more forts that the objective netted you.

But you can't go stop his minions, because then you lose the obj...

not just laning with, they have to actually put effort into cooperating with you

once you hit 10 you just oneshot waves with black pool so you don't need help anymore

need help to start early. should still be able to get enough solo to where using black pool is a full clear at 10 though.

probably better to follow someone with modest aoe like valeera or muradin who won't ruin you entirely in between cooldowns.

anyone with a brain works but if you are just playing casually it's easier just to avoid the kaels and jainas blasting shit on you rather than argue with them.

He's pretty easy to beat in a straight up fight. His health pool makes him look intimidating, but he doesn't have any good defensive talents.

Can you guys see the invis shimmers in this webm?
A few threads back, somebody was complaining about how they just can't see the shimmers no matter what and that still screenshots weren't helpful so I've been trying to get some good shots of moving shimmers and hitting them out of invis for the next guy who complains about them. I can sort of make out a shimmer but that's because I know it's there, doesn't really mean a stranger would be able to see it, and this is the best I can get at like 4kb/s bitrate. I play the game on max settings and can't really do better for graphics quality so I'm hoping this is good enough.

Can you guys make out the shimmer? Would you say this a good example on what to look for?

Only if you have a stun of some kind, otherwise he can melt any non tank with his meme beam.

I can barely see them, and only after the webm had played already.
It might be partly because of the map; I have no trouble spotting shimmers in bright maps like Hanamura or Sky Temple, but I struggle in darker maps like Cursed Hollow or Tomb of the Spider Queen.

These are my in-game settings.

I don't know what I'd change them to.

It's the opposite for me. Light maps like Sky Temple and Hanamura make it so hard for me track them if they don't walk through a dark patch like the temples or the grass. I prefer maps with darker elements.

Is the webm worse or better than when you were on low settings?

Webm is a little too short, you reveal them and then its like well now I know where I should be glancing
Someone's gonna say "but real games are the same" and they're not, because I would have been scanning for the shimmers the last 10 seconds and therefore known where not to look in the webm

Always be moving your egg, but never get too ballsy with it.
Unless you're co-ordinated with your whole team, get March of the Murlocs.
If you want to have fun, get endless March, otherwise get the one that makes you huge.
His level 1 and 4 talents are shit, but the bribe and Living the Dream are by far his best.
Prioritize living over doing damage.
You're useless until 10/14, focus on pushing and getting merc camps until then.
Avoid ranged heroes like the plague.
If you get March of the Murlocs, use it any time there's a massive teamfight or an object you need to protect. Bonus points if you're behind your entire team and in a safe area.
