There is one exception to that rule. If there is more than 1 person in a house, and Jason doesn't hear them over mic or hear their counselor mumble in fear, or the other counselor doesn't give you away (in other words, Jason doesn't know there's more than 1 person in the cabin). I hid in the closet while the other guy went out the window. Jason tunneled him and left me alone.

I've also been fooled as Jason with that trick. I saw 3 sound blips in a red cabin, I heard multiple people talking, one of them said "this Kenny is going to give away our hiding spots" I break down the door, after shattering the windows, a vanessa jumps through the window, Kenny is in there and I know there's a hider in there. So I sidestep the trap, Kenny tries to stun me, fails, gets his skull crushed. One of the guys says "oh no" over his mic as I walk towards him, I search and destroy him... then morph off in the distance where I can see Vanessa running.

.... I thought the cabin was empty. Nope. There was an AJ hiding under a bed completely silent. I killed everyone but her, and I couldn't sense her anywhere. I just started porting randomly and sensing

Then finally I went back to where there was that one hider.. and as I close in he starts blaring music over his mic because he knew he'd finally been found.

But that fucker hid in that location, where I'd just killed 2 other people, for a solid 10 minutes.

and I highly doubt any of you would have checked that bed after killing 2 people and watching 1 sprint away.

Why does everyone seem to play as 3?

Is there any guide regarding the room required to perform executions? I'd really like to take asphixiate off my grab kills but there are sometimes you have a newly spawned Tommy Jarvis grabbed on the staircase of Higgins Haven and don't want to give him the chance to break out and shoot you, so you need an execution you can perform right there in a small space. Asphyxiate works. Any others that require as little room as that?

Part 3's should be utilizing their grip strength to get environmental kills, instead of just asphyxiating. Immediately performing an execution doesn't require grip strength as the ways that they can get out before you do an on the spot execute are pocket knife or being stunned by another counselor.

But looking around for environmental kills sure does benefit from grip stength.

Probably because Aiming throwing knives on console is probably awful and shift is probably harder to control, so they rely on their running and tiring out counselors more.

anyone else only half ass chase the counselors in the beginning?
I trap some of the objectives and keep an eye on them, then I morph around the map as part 2 and run around smashing power boxes, breaking windows and destroying any door I find that's not barricaded. I go check on the other objectives about the time I get shift, and I'll use sense, go up to a cabin where survivors are, harass them a bit, make sure all the windows are broken, hack at the door a bit, and then just leave.

I don't seriously try hunting them down unless they've got the cops on the way or a car or boat is being fixed or started. I only really like to go after them when I get stalk. I'll get maybe 1 or 2 kills before then and only if they didn't put in any serious effort to get away. I usually only get like 5/7 doing this sometimes a boat or 2 seater gets away, but it's more fun. I never shift grab, I mostly shift to stop cars, or shift ahead of someone and try to stalk grab them around a corner.or if they're going towards a cabin I know I have the doors down on, I stalk and shft into that cabin. and grab them when they come in the window.

just wait till they add single player then the game will actually be worth the 40 bucks.

depends if they add ways penalize people who leave games the second they see theyre not jason or leave just as jason is going to kill them to deny him XP and/or address the fact shift grabs into inta executions are unhealty for the game.

I've only played as Jason about 3 or 4 times but I try to play like that.
I had a guy yelling over the mic for the entire game "ohh dude this jason SUCKS" and stuff like that. I ended up killing them all but it really killed my fun desu.

Atleast I stalk killed him and gave him a legitimate shock, so that's something I guess.

i play as the nigger, MAX fucking strength, i have the perks for starting wit ha baseball bat, AND i have an epic perk that does +35% more stun time with the bat. but everytime i swing on a jason, it isn't a gaurenteed stun. however, i had a fucking chad swing on me THREE times with a fucking axe and stun me every time does luck affect where you stun or not, or is it strength?

i know there are different stats on weapons, and some do more stun and some do more damage, but what the fuck is the point of damage? you can't just beat jason to death so literally whats the point?
