Any tips on using this weapon better?

Also, why is it when I put the two blunt radials on it, the damage is a straight downgrade from Physical ATK up? Does it get better once I get a blunt triangle gem?

Use a better weapon

Get close for r1s and r2s, or just keep using L2s. Tricked is only Blunt, so it won't help untricked at all if you're putting Blunt gems. If your Phys gems are a higher % than your Blunt gems, then they'll be better.

If you're looking at the AR stat in your stats menu, then that's misleading since it only shows the AR of the straight physical damage. Also the Blunt attacks only count for the hammer form.

Blunt setup is better for Blunt attacks, which is what tricked mode is purely made of. So if you're sticking to tricked, use Blunts. If you're also gonna use the little sword, use the Physical setup. Don't forget about the curses too.

People say it's pretty hard but I always get mines in a few runs. Specially thrust. First 10 watchers always get a 32.6 thrust

You're lucky. It took me an eternity to get a useful thrust gem. Were you farming Isz?

Regarding the dolls fingers twitching in the abandoned workshop, you could almost go as far as to say the doll is dreaming, like a dog barks and runs in the real world while dreaming.

Could it be she is the source of the dream or perhaps the moon presence put the dream in the dolls head because putting it in an actual persons could mean they could wake up and destroy the dream whereas a doll cannot truly wake up creating the everlasting dream?

For a full set of blunts and thrusts took me ~130 watchers I think, using chunks to count. 2 or 3 days basically

btw is there any difference in normal farm (creating new dungeon after every attempt) and save backing up farm?

Normal farming tires you less
Backing up is faster but feels more sluggish

It's a way to pass the time, funner to co-op and everyone is able to farm together and get gems

Does doing 25/50 STR ARC allow for fun weapons besides the wheel, parasite, and hms? I don't want to be limited, but I want to do ARC.

You're also able to convert physical weapons using elemental gems, so you can get more than just the split damage weapons.

I don't know if this has the vibe you're looking for, but I had fun doing it so I'll post it regardless.

Okay, I want to try out STR heavy weapons, but like I said, stay focused on ARC damage. Does converting the damage work well with any weapon?

It has the second highest weapon variety so yeah, whatever you meet the requirements for that can be converted is usable. 12 Skl should be the minimum you have, so stuff like Whirli, Stake, Kirk, Saws, Saif, Toni, Boomhammer, etc can be used.

If you convert physical weapons to elemental damage the damage will scale off of your Arcane stat.

Claws are rather bad when converted. Beasthood only buffs physical damage. Beast Claws have rather low damage but have the built-in beasthood to make up for it. Without the beasthood the claws are rather lackluster

Thing is about Claw, the beasthood only affects Phys damage. Since you're converting it, it'll just make you take more damage while gaining nothing. You can still use it if you're a madman, but it does have the lowest AR of all converted weapons. Even Cane has higher AR.

i dealt with this earlier, and on my final attempt, the fire miraculously didn't block my riposte

Ludwig may be the only boss that I'm totally okay with the co-op host just hiding in a corner from, letting me do all the work.
Regardless of how far I get or how much longer it takes, it's an excellent fight.

i did this with a +6 hunter Axe, it was great

doubt i'll do it again anytime soon though. i pretty much got phase 1 down, but phase 2 kicks my ass (and wasn't good for my heart rate, Jesus)
