>you seem fixated on the task of repurposing a character from a dead franchise I'm not "fixated," I'm just currently spending time doing it. It's how I want to play right now. The game just has no real soul and I've done everything about it that did. It did, originally, but the stakes raised so quickly and it's so disconnected. I really wish, for example, that decisions had longer-term consequences, that it might be a thing to sabotage another player's operation rather than merely interfere in specific mission objectives.
Imagine being able to enlist in a gang or Merryweather, become a police officer, all of that shit with specific missions being open to you, relations between the factions mattering. In fact, I bet I can come up with some shit right now off the top of my head. Hold my beer.
Merryweather: A player calls for backup and another player accepts the job. Up to 5 players can accept the contract, voicechat becomes restricted to Merryweather task force members. Any spots not filled by a player are filled by an NPC, including if zero people accept it. After 20 seconds of prep time, the Merryweather task force is teleported to and deploys from a set spawn location with full health, full armor, full ammo, and pre-determined weapons with loadouts able to be unlocked, no RPG or Homing Launcher spam. Merryweather players can respawn only if other Merryweather members are still alive, up to 2 times each, before they can only spectate the remaining living members. Once the target is eliminated, all Merryweather are respawned and the hiring player can offer to hire the player task force members as a detail and be escorted until the Merryweather players decide they're bored or the hiring player fires them. By default, after 20 seconds with no decision, or if the player declines the chance to make such an offer, the Merryweather players respawn at their set location (home, office, yacht, last, etc).

>The game just has no real soul and I've done everything about it that did. that sounds like more of your own problem than the game's. rather, more of your opinion than the truth.
>that decisions had longer-term consequences, that it might be a thing to sabotage another player's operation rather than merely interfere in specific mission objectives. that's a terrible idea in terms of GTA. it's a pretty casual game, and most players would shrink away if they knew how quickly hours worth of grind could be taken away so quickly. that isn't even factoring in the poor anti-cheat, where you're already fucked if a hacker catches you trying to earn things legitimately instead of sucking at their tits. most people would just flock to safe places like they already do, defeating the point.
>Imagine being able to enlist in a gang or Merryweather, become a police officer, all of that shit with specific missions being open to you, relations between the factions mattering. that's great and all, but it isn't linear enough for sharkcards sales. also, it didn't happen in this timeline. try playing a game like APB of FiveMP if you want that.
the map has so many different features and alternative pathways already that many games don't have. why can't you just appreciate that?
Juan Cook
>are you afraid of criticism? If I were, would I bother replying to you?
>did you just assume you'd be free to use this thread as your own personal blog, taking lack of replies as others being awestruck by your creations? Silly me, trying to talk about what I'm doing in the game. Forget the parts where I went over male characters, missions, glitches, Gunrunning speculation, all that shit, because I'm not a namefag and don't include my female character in every shot. The motorcycle shit earlier was me, too, for example. Not JUST me, but started by people talking to me, in which constructive criticism was fielded, thanked for, and listened to. You've offered no criticism. You've just talked hypocritical shit.
>really, using this game is an inherently lazy means to recreate a character. It requires significantly more effort over longer periods of time because there are restrictions and such, aspects of the character to consider, when making decisions. When choosing a car, I cannot say "my character likes these!" because Paz has things she likes already. Just as with the CS Terrorist, how I cannot use just any weapons I want because it doesn't fit. The fact that you don't understand these simple facts speaks volumes. I'm not going to waste any more of my time speaking with a literal blithering, hypocritical idiot standing atop some faggoty moral high-ground he's shoddily constructed using banal mental gymnastics.
I'm going to have fun how I want. Get over it.
>inb4 you google "banal" and try to imply I used it wrong Your mindset is the same tired shit everyone that reads a little tries to pretend is oh-so unique, like you've got it all figured out. You're not nearly as smart as you think, buddy.

>If I were, would I bother replying to you? well your responses probably wouldn't be as verbose, i assume. right now you're trying to say that my criticism is unwarranted by describing your disenchantment with other aspects of the game (which i hardly believe you've explored in full). there was also that dragon's dogma character you posted to prove you made original characters or something, but i'm not touching that.
>Forget the parts where I went over male characters, missions, glitches, Gunrunning speculation, all that shit, because I'm not a namefag and don't include my female character in every shot. even the namefags make those claims and it never seems to pan out. to anyone else, it looks like you're just posting some character you made for vanity, like anyone else.
>You've offered no criticism. You've just talked hypocritical shit. i've suggested looking into other parts of the game, but you've already told me you'll be having no part in that. i've suggested using other games to recreate this look, but you refused. i'm simply dumbfounded as to why you'd try to recreate all these characters in GTA of all games when in the end you'll always only be allowed to keep two that are truly unique.
>The fact that you don't understand these simple facts speaks volumes. this doesn't mean much because all the manufacturers are fictional and/or fucked up. none of the guns or cars are actually 1:1 copies of their real-life counterparts so you end up with kalashes owned by germans, m16s owned by the swedish, and a bunch of other mistakes.
>I'm going to have fun how I want. Get over it. alright, but don't automatically assume it's me when someone else decides to criticize you.

Oliver Miller
Okay, cool. I was worried he wasn't getting anything.
Henry Collins
they get the standard stipend as far as i know ($4k-$10k for delivering). this is the amount they'd normally get every 10-15 minutes they're employed by you. each car delivered counts as $500 extra toward the associate's pay, same goes for crate collections.
if you want to increase the stipend quickly, just collect crates with the associates working under you. alternatively, you could run headhunter/sightseer in between collections/sales to net them a little bonus. there's always the option of paying them back with labor, tho.
employees will always get fucked.

The timing is pretty tight for many of them. A good bike can make it easier, but sometimes there are also shortcuts to make a more direct route.
