Veeky Forums discords in general are shite, they end up being dominated by people who want the attention and e-fame of a forum/irc but with being able to be a cunt to someone of imageboard culture. You're best off avoiding them and hoping they don't leak back into the threads that spawned them.

I'm sure I miss some good conversation by not taking part in them but I'm quite happy with just using the thread itself, I've done it for years now and I'm not going to change.
