I think SFV had a major development shift, looking at the earlier build of the game. Maybe said development shift is what created later on so many problems for the game. I would to see someone investigate on the matter, but who can do that?

Buying characters lets you get back part of the FM you invested in them since you get access to their stories, challenges and survival, plus you get more characters to level up, so go ahead.
Make sure you leave enough for one character in case you like the next one though.

I play games I like, mainly SFV and Rev 2 nowadays.
Different people have different opinions, that's alright. I don't think Tekken is shit, I simply don't like it but I can understand why some people do. The only objective kusoge are those developed by NRS.
