Apparently you don't because that isn't what was going on. People found out that Chic Fil A was donating profits to an organizations that performed "gay conversion therapy" which is pretty far from inoffensive. There are lots of christian companies in the US that wear their religious affiliations on their sleeves and have their opinions but very few are going to risk profits and bad publicity by endorsing something so controversial.

I also never really understood the priory of Christian companies or consumers that identify as Christian. Fucking Walmart might as well be a cyberpunk mega-corp that would fit in just fine in fucking Shadowrun with how shitty it is towards it's employees, local communities, and acts like a giant leech on the government's welfare systems but no one ever gives a hoot about that kind of greed and abuse because it doesn't involve abortion or gays.
