Ain't this the right way to go about with quotation lines?
"This is a quotation," he said, while shitposting on reddit.
or is it as so?
"This is a quotation," he said while shitposting on reddit.
Cause I'm pretty sure the former is the right way to do it, although I've been having a conflict of opinion in my mind with the way I've been editing things for awhile now with a script that makes me wonder if I'm in the wrong or not.
For example, these are two lines:
This is the memorable place where I fucked both of them for the first time, after all. This’ll serve as the perfect place for them to begin their new life with me.
I mumbled to myself while sitting on top of Mifuyu’s desk.
Now, to me, it would look sort of like so together:
"This is the memorable place where I fucked both of them for the first time, after all. This’ll serve as the perfect place for them to begin their new life with me," I mumbled to myself while sitting on top of Cow’s desk.
Which looks incorrect, it should look like so:
"This is the memorable place where I fucked both of them for the first time, after all. This’ll serve as the perfect place for them to begin their new life with me," I mumbled to myself, while sitting on top of Cow’s desk.
So, when the second line reads as:
I mumbled to myself while sitting on top of Cow’s desk.
Shouldn't that be corrected as:
I mumbled to myself, while sitting on top of Cow’s desk.
Right?
