clinks is bad at low mmr's because the player himself is probably also low mmr, and low mmr people are bad at dota, and clinkz relies on good map control, rotations, early preassure and solid item build decisions and early high ground sieging to close out games

In HoN however, almost every spell is completely instant, coupled with a stun attached. This ruins the possiblity of playing "well", in the sense that you are literally incapable of using defensive maneuvers.

It feels like you play fast, because you stun and blow nearly anything up in 2 spells, even something like Dark Lady was extremely threatening by the time she hits level 4.
This means you can get away with riskier maneuvers if you have good vision, because things don't take as much time, it's much harder to save someone who is getting jumped if you're far away. The fact that teleports also disable tower attacks and reduce their armor is also a big deal, because you can dive like a madman.
