I'm in South America. Admittedly my country does have way better connection to US and maybe EU than the rest of this shithole as I get better ping to US East servers than to servers in neighbor contries, but still.

I think it is broken. I don't think walking animations work and i can't seem to talk to anyone and clicking on them occasionally causes Reimu to slap them.

I did try the combat and it seems fun, though!

I fixed it by setting the refresh rate to 60Hz instead of 75Hz.

I got hooked on that Touhou Diablo game. It is quite fun and the bosses are tough, although can be somewhat cheesed if you give your AI a hakkero and run around until they kill them for you since your companion respawns after a few seconds if they die and hakkeros deal stupid damage as a tradeoff for reducing your health and locking you into long animations.

Cirno's fight was a few minutes long. This was in either the 6th or 7th floor. I think. I didn't count.

Is that some sort of terraria-like survival sandbox? Eh, not my cup of tea. I never got to enjoy that kind of game, but it does look cute, though!

Also, this touhou diablo is actually pretty good. There are many kind of weapons and the encounters are challenging. One thing I didn't mention was that you can swap Reimu and Marisa with any of the touhous that are hanging in town, including the shop NPCs after you acquire silver from momiji in one of the floors. A bar to the east even unlocked at some point and it has Alice, Letty, Aya and the SDM cast in it, remi seems to have gone alone into the dungeon from what they tell you.

This is a solid 8/10 so far. I don't know why I had this laying on my computer for who knows how long until now.

I don't like these things, but i do like Ran.

why does sakuya have so much health?

The only thing that scales is your equipment. Different weapons have penalties to Health, and rings that buff your health. In that screenshot i have sword+shield which leaves HP unchanged plus a diamond ring. There's also a temporary HP buff you can get by eating some eel from Mystia's stand after getting some charcoal so she can cook. If I equipped a hakkero, minus the eel buff, i'd have Eirin's health.

Characters don't have any stats at all from what I can tell, they are just cosmetic. They do have different lines depending on who you talk to them as in town, tho.

It is a simple game with a simple combat system but it feels really good. Also seems to have quite some content as I am in floor 13 and have only unlocked one out of about 5 places that house more 2hus that connect to the main town hub.

How's that touhou hack and slash? Is it more diablo-esque in the sense of build customization?

From what I remember, It was basically Diablo 1. You level and up stats, find gear and upgrade it if you like bonuses it has, learn skills from tomes and fill. Armor, weapons and spell cards are class restricted, but rings and something else are not
You also get called ahh fresh meat by Rumia and soundtrack was pretty chill.
