I don't why Sword needed a mini-aegis. It's a strong but very boring effect and as far as we know doesn't do anything to bolster/interact with the officer/commander mechanic.

Wrath Drake/Saha Ramp dragon is probably one of the only classes that can farm Eachtar Midrange. It is unfavorable against Aegis, Vengeance, and D-Shift though. Goes even versus Aggro shadow.

That's pretty much the point, it's a soft ward that's even more dead draw on curve if you go first. Late game when they've used all evos it's kind of a bluff threat. Maybe they don't have evo turtles or Olivia, do you feel lucky? Can you afford 10? It's not actually a ward, can you just kill them first or ward against it?

But you know, big numbers.

I do, and I'm steadily climbing. After the zell and LB nerfs it took a while to find the footing again, but now I'm running roughly 7/3 mid masters.

Aegis is a bad matchup and so is V. Blood, no forte/urd means its very difficult to finish them off, but Wrath Drake is one of the few clears in the game that can consistently take out Death's Breath, and you have a whole slew of other board clear. Zeus is also difficult for a lot of those decks to deal with.

Considering Shadowniggers are about 50% of what I see on ladder, farming Eachtar is perfectly fine. Plus, it's fun BM'ing shitters who think running an OP deck is the key to victory.

Obviously you still get raped by nep, though.
