New to tekken and I'm going to main Ling once my copy arrives next week. I know you generally don't play fighting games for the story but can someone give me a general background of hers? Has she been in the series since the beginning?

The things Jin did in Tekken 6 was to bring out Azazel because he though beating him would remove his devil blood. Not defending him, he killed people to wake a God up which in turn could have killed more people.

This is why Heihachi was seen as a good guy in 7 when he reclaim the zaibatsu and was helping people, Kuma bio for reference
