Typically the title isn't very long, and the ~xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx~ is just a subtitle that is often omitted, but present in covers and marketing as a sort of synopsis.
There are also cases where the main title is an abbreviation or an acronym and the subtitle explains it, or there are just some "quirky" developers that think it's funny to have an absurdly long title.

So I uh, updated to the newest Honey Select by downloading the patches one by one in chronological order until I was caught up. Starting up Battle Party updated all my cards and now they don't even load into regular Honey Select, so I swapped back to the old ones, but they display like this.
