>B5.5 Passat taillights
So does the 500k Ford GT lol
enjoy looking at the rear end of a McLaren again user
F1 also has mirrors from a VW
...
this makes me hate an otherwise beautiful car
considering this is my absolute dream car this is making me feel fucking uneasy
I don't see it. Both do have the same vague triangular shape, but the Maserati's lights are noticeably more angular, the transparent portion is very different and the radius of the top curve is much smaller.
Here's a fun one though, the million-dollar Zonda has the A/C control panel off a Rover shitbox.
>Top
Lancia Ypsilon
>Bottom
Pagani Zonda
>those flip switches
NA MX-5/Miatas and Aston Martin DB7s share interior door handles.
Could you imagine if they pulled this shit today
Esprit and AE86 taillights
>FAP
Well they couldn't, because everything has integrated headlights and indicators now.
It's not an exotic but I couldn't stop laughing when I got in some Infinity crossover and it had the same mirror adjuster as a fucking Versa but adorned with some fake carbon fiber
Here's an even better one. The shifter on a Bentley Continental GT, look familiar?
Here's a VW Passat. You know, for comparison.
I think the new prius taillights could be cool if horizontal and on a super car
not the same part moron
>Elan
>shitbox
no sir
> making me feel fucking uneasy
Then it was never really your dream car was it?
>guages in approximately the same position
those are not shared parts
He's talking about the green temp/mileage readout.
that gross carbon fibre wrap isn't stock is it? it isn't even flush
No, the entire gauge cluster design(the backbone) is the same, they have changed the dials and the needles. Everything else is in the exact same position. Everything. As you can see from
>pic related
it shows even more of the stuff on the side, and they are on the exact same position.
Even the three buttons on the lower left side.
They just made it more "premium" by adding patterns and metal.
Xj220 shares its tail lights with the rover 200
Oh, it is stock m8
but elan is godly
MG SV shares its headlights with the second generation fiat punto
They don't need to since they can easily afford to make their own DOT approved housings
Nobody mentioned 300ZX vs Diablo yet?
Also the brakes from a 300ZX are the same as a 2006 Subaru WRX, and the JDM Subaru Type R models from the mid/late 90s.
Mentioned in the OP.
>inb4 obvious ones like diablo Nissan 300
Right in the OP
It also shares its tail lights with the fiat coupe
I'm blind, but the brakes from the 300ZX being the same as the Subaru isn't very obvious.
I figured that out trying to get brakes pads for my V3 STI.
was meant for
Ferrari 288 GTO window switches
same as a Range Rover Classic
Cadillac may get triggered.
HELLAFLASH
Holy shit our buses have those same taillights
>Low production British sports car uses part from another low production British sports car of a similar time
Wow.
What next? You're going to talk about how the Lotus Esprit uses tons of BMC parts throughout?
4C has the same reverse lights as Snek
>RR
>Decent horsepower
>Supercar taillights
Veeky Forums ride supercars every day
Not just decent but those turbodiesels have got to make like 600hp in addition to like 2000Nm of torque. Once when I still used to ride the bus the bus overtook a tractor (europoor btw) and damn that thing actually shifted.
Bolwell Nagari shares tail lights with the Honda Integra
But which one is the shitbox?
Part of me wants to put Altezza lights on it.
Wait actually not I was super wrong sorry
Pontiac Vibe GT, Toyota Corolla/Matrix XRS engine. The Evora has the V6 from the Camry, Avalon, Sienna, Highlander, Lexus 350s, etc.
That's because you're ricer scum. Altezza lights never looked good, even on the Altezza
noble m600 has a twin turbo version of the v8 from the volvo xc90 and s80, which is actually built by yamaha.
so the noble m600 is actually a quadbike.
p much all the cobalt ss shares parts with a base cobalt
...
I, too, watch Top Gear
no I know this because I'm a volvo fanboy.
R31 shares its engine with an Australian family car
who also completely coincidentally watches Top Gear
no
Only because of changes to emissions regulations and the introduction of catalytic converters. Holden didnt want to build a new v8 that would comply so they just used the nissan RB motor
...
Implying the R31 isn't a family car first and then a weeb performance car with a WHOPPING 200 hp after
>only gets his car information from Top Gear
>doesn't know other people get information from places other than a tv show
nice samefagging
...
this but honestly the esprit has all sort of parts from other cars
Door handles are from a renault IIRC same with the transmission
DB7 Uses tailights off a 89 mazda 323
shares everything almost with a subaru WRX
Isnt it literally an MR WRX?
pretty much
Uses the AWD transmission but in FWD mode only
>FCA
both
Same engine as the Ford Taurus
Do they at least remove the AWD relevant parts to save weight?
Do you recognize these mirrors?
yeah posting from your phone is really hard isnt it
Was is the Yamaha V6 in the SHO? Or is it the newer SHO with the turbo V6?
That Yamaha V6 was phenomenal. Ford put a rev limiter on that car based on the accessories, the engine can actually handle a few more thousand rpm just fine. And it doesn't seem to mind boost.
SHO had the Yamaha V8
All other trims had the Duratec engine, as does the Noble
Esprit and F1 look alright tho.
I think the new Prius tail lights are cool on the Prius.
I'm not sure, but the previous generation Dodge Viper seems to use the same vents as the first generation Jeep Liberty.
...
2004 Ford GT has turning shifters from the Focus.
It does, also same head unit.
The vl turbo is much more powerful and expensive than an r31.
your point is moot.
It looks so good on Diablo.
Aston Martin has Taurus wheel.
...
If you bought a new Aston Martin, you would know it's owned by Ford and that Ford would use proven established parts they already use in other products. Aston Martin in 1995 - 2007 are the dogshits. Cheap. Noticeable share-parts.
Not even a weeb mate, guess Holdenfags really are the easiest to bait though
headlights that NA miata uses fits shitload of cars
for example, you can buy headlights for land rover defender and they will fit right in
other examples: lada niva, old kamaz trucks, trabant, volga, icarus buses
and there are even more
Pagani confirmed for silk hat on a pig tier design.
a million hours in MS paint
What would be the price of the car if they would design 100% of it?
I doubt it would be that much higher, but it's pointless to invest into R&D for something that nobody gives a fuck if it's functional.
It was already a very expensive car. Everything looks like a good solution because it fits in the car's design. Especially those mirrors.
What the FUCK
>Mazda was Ford
>Aston was Ford
Aston said
>we need switches it will take up too much money from our 5 O'Bong tea budget
Ford said
>We will look into it
then said to mazda
>Those retarded brits need switches
Mazda said
>Sugoi desu we can give from the Matsuda em exxu faivo.
early 90's Aston Martin...
and early 90's Ford Taurus
