biggest redpill out there desu

Yeah but it's like driving a prius automatically makes you a bad driver.

t. a guy who pays 120 a week for gas

>1981 GMC C15
>crate 350/th350c/3.42 gears
>9-12mpg everywhere

>1999 VW Passat TDI
>around 50 mpg US

>complaining about paying for gas
I don't get this, why are you on Veeky Forums?

I got 22mpg on my last tank in a '05 Lincoln Town Car. Mixed driving.

>BRZ
>28-29 hooning around town
>30.2 highway
kinda neat, considering it needs premium

9? You have something wrong there.
For me I can baby it on a road trip and get 17 mpg. Then I can drive it as fast as possible and get 17 mpg.

is this the unlimited oil theory????

Why do you even go on Veeky Forums if you don't like driving? Or cars?

Right about the same. Drive an frs but get around ~26 due to living downtown

>2004 Honda Civic Hybrid
>avg 44 MPG

31 mpg combined

>pic related

also

>a litre of oil /1000km

adds into the running costs

Prius C is the only one worth owning.

If they could make it lighter I bet they could break 90mpg.

19.something combined

im ok with it

renewable

here is the broof

It's still on gen 3 tech, should get a 10% improvement if it moves to gen 4 like the new prius

Anybody who gets more than 40 is likely one of those pieces of shit who takes 5 minutes to hit the speed limit then proceeds to do 20 under in the left lane.

Fuck you. Take the bus you kikes.

Did a lot of city driving and would get 19-21. Now mostly Highway and getting closer to 26-27. Not terrible for a V6.

Test

>Holden vr commodore ss 1995
>bout 11l/100km highway
>16l/100km in town
>20l/100km if driving like a dickhead in town

>The drill hit oil in the spring of 1989, but only collected about 80 barrels (13 m3).
>500 million years of oil
>redpill

yeah i'm real redpilled rn

>2006 jetta tdi
>45 mpg average even when I'm hooning the shit outta it
>hoping it breaks something major soon so I can justify getting rid of it cuz I mean I got it for free from grandpa

Honda Civic 2009 Ex-L.

Last month and a half I've been averaging 31 mpg (American), while hooning around like a dipshit, kicking in VTEC, and speeding like a retard.

$45 Canadian Monopoly bucks is the most I've spent on a single tank this summer/fall. Usually around $40.

Love it.

wtf just sell it if you want something else

I still live with parents (18, finishing hs) and they don't want me to sell it. If it's still alive when I move out I guess I will. I mean I don't fuck it up on purpose or anything.

>1996 Lexus LS400
>18 city
>27 Highway

These numbers are if i don't drive like a cunt.

Kek, I drive around 40-45, which also happens to be the speed limit of the road.

i do accelerate slowly and cruise to a stop, but feel free to pass me

I beat the shit out of my 01 Boxster S and get a consistent 22.5-23.5 combined driving

I like to skip 2nd and 4th gear in traffic. Start off with 1st and gas it up to 20 and then hit 3rd gear at ~1200, finally up to 5th at around 40mph.

Would it be cheaper, better mpg, to just row every gear but shift earlier?

I can see the carbon buildup through my screen.

why does your car get worse fuel economy than my 5.7 litre v8 car?

Yeah honestly its probably best you keep it till you move out and get financially stable. It'll probably last you a good while anyway. such is the first car life.

>2010 volvo s80 v8
20mpg average

...

hypermiling is fun. i miss my old 2004 prius sometimes.

then i remember how slow it was...

It's not the slowest thing I've driven but my last DD had a sub 5 second 0-60 and a stage 5 tune, took a bit of getting used to.
That said the low end torque from the electric motor makes it really fun in the twisties.

Kek, at least you can skid

Yeah I was surprised to spin the tires at going 1-10mph but it dragged so bad afterwards I felt unsafe pulling out into traffic.

It's solid 0-35 but after that it's dead. It's no race car but it can really shock people when it launches. At least for those first few seconds.

12 mpg

cute pony

>SVT focus
>15-18mpg city
>23 highway

>truck level emm pee gees
>hatchback
Holy shit nigger what are you doing.

Dodge Challenger R/T 392

13~ city
28+ Highway

14 something, all freeway. And I drive 500 miles a week.
Truck cost mone

1990 2.9L v6 Ranger, reg cab 2wd, 3.43 gears

i get about 22-23 on avg,i try to stay on highways and take my time. i get 25 going 55mph

Needing to replace parts of my fuel system is what I'm doing.

Also It's not really bad, I spend like 30 bucks on gas every two weeks.

2002 WRX Wagon
23-25MPG

Seems to use the same amount of gas no matter how much I try to stay out of boost, so I just say fuck it and floor it all the damn time at this point.

Thats not bad at all user. My 1993 4wd v6 4.0L extracab gets about 14 avg, but I do almost all city driving with it.

Because the rotary doesn't maintain seal on the bang stroke for long enough to have an efficient burn. Half of your fuel just runs out the tailpipe.

19mpg all city

92 corolla autoshitbox

>23 mpg all day

$800 car, IDGAF.

>2005 IS300
>18-20 city
>requires premium

luckily my commute is pretty short

your life is just so awful :'( your parents are dick heads!

>2014 bmw 428xi

>mfw hoon life

>2013 BMW 335is

whole lotta gang shit

Please gib tips on how to improve em pee gees Ty

Get up to speed at a moderate pace and short shift the last few gears. Try to keep your tach under 2k while cruising. Let off the gas on declines and coast to stop signs and stoplights always thinking ahead of time.

>fiat
28 when driving like a dick and a lot of in town driving. 34 highway
>ford
usually around 11. 14 if I absolutely baby it. that 4.9l i6 with a single barrel carb and 4.11 towing gears paired with a 3 speed automatic carting around 4000lbs.
>yamameme
42 if I ride like a dick and go 120 everywhere. 50 if I ride normally. I get 42 a lot.

Is that some kind of OBD2 port app?

W12 Phaeton, 16MPG (imp not US) around town.

BRZ, 56 average over mixed highway/city. Drops dramatically on trackdays.

>f they could make it lighter I bet they could break 90mpg.

Easy to strip a load of weight out of the prius, get rid of the hybrid system and drop in a TDi and 90mpg will be yours all day long.

mini cooper s, 22-24 in the city, 34ish on highway.

its just the chevy app

you can see where the car is, track mpgs, lock/unlock the doors etc.

Isn't that the one that let's you steal any car you have paired with?

you cant start the car with it.

>buying an automatic
nigga...

This was from a couple days ago.

Nice legs.

Best:
56 mpg 5l / 100km
Normal:
51 mpg 5.7 l / 100km
Worst:
40 mpg 7.1 l / 100km

Don't feel so bad about getting 15mpg anymore.

someone was actually paid money to design that layout

Drive like prius drivers?

Amsoil SS engine oil can improve MPG by 10% easily, but don't use it if you are driving an old car.

I know some guy that went to design layout for BMW, 300k a year easily.

gets the same mileage as my 2010 S40 2.4i i5

You sir are a man of good taste
