For my money, the SVX is probably the best fun 90's car.
Patently false.
The DSM late 90s eclipse gst and gsx are where its at.
Not in the same class as the z32, also
>fwd based awd
I wish this meme would die.
It won't because it's objectively true.
>t. owns a Subaru and its awd is fantastic
if it's an auto don't bother, unless you have the cash for a manual swap.
not even the funnest subaru from the 90's.
It's the only Subaru in the same class as the z32 though.

In the span of 5 years owning my GSX I've have had to fix the fuckup of the 7 bolt 4G63 walking me, only when I got a 6 bolt did it ever not be a piece of shit.
granted the first 4g63 did take 35000 miles before it walked, (80k) not bad, the second motor only lasted a pathetic 4000 miles. (98k)
They were available with FWD, yes. I know what a Leone is. It's not the same kind of FWD as the DSM. The Leone has a longitudinally mounted boxer engine with a RWD style transmission just like modern Subarus. Equal length half shafts going to the front wheels out of the transmission, the 4WD models have a driveshaft coming out the back of the transmission. All 4 wheels get 25% of the power all the time, on non-DCCD manual transmission models.
The DSM uses a transaxle and transversely mounted engine, as well as a transfer case. This is heavier than Subaru's, as their AWD system is contained all in the transmission. It doesn't apply to the DSM as it has equal length half shafts too, but most FWD based AWD doesn't, exacerbating torque steer and wheel hop. FWD based AWD systems are also known for being FWD until you lose traction or try to get hektik, and in Honda's case they don't even do that, in testing they've had cars that won't send power to the rear wheels even with the fronts on rollers and the rears not moving on solid ground.
it pretty much makes no difference
It is a modified Probe but the pic was taken at a bad angle
