HOW TO BUY CHEAP LEGENDARY 101:

1) Buy 7200 dust pack for $58.5
2) Craft a nerfed Legendary
3) Transmute with dust then mill it
4) Repeat

18 legendaries for $58.5, $3.25 per card. You'll never get this rate from opening kegs.

Mill every nerfed card unless you really want to play it, there's literally no reason not to take the scraps

I already tried 2 games with it. The issue isn't deck thinning, you essentially thin too much with shieldmaidens/raiders/ermion/sva/pirates etc, the problem is having enough CA to bleed them round 2 and play the last card round 3. Trying Ocvist in addition to the spy.

One minor thing, you need your opponent to have at least one Gold left in their deck.

Otherwise you put yourself at card disadvantage.

They are making loyal fans who will tell their friends to try it out and increase the userbase which increases the number of people willing to spend money on kegs.
CDPR knows being good to their customers pays off massively in the long game, just look at Witcher 3. Honestly after E3 this year I think they are the only people who understand modern marketing.

gwent has a higher expected scrap from each keg than hearthstone now with the changes to common and rare values, and epics and legendaries cost half of their HS equivalent.

Definitely easier to be F2P in gwent.

Don't fall for their marketing tactics user. Remember that they're a business out to make money.

That doesn't mean don't like them our their games, but always have a healthy amount of skepticism. Be aware that their "pro-consumer" stance is also a "pro-business" stance because they believe (rightly) that giving more to customers is how you make money. You need to remain a skeptic so they remain honest and keep going with their "pro-consumer" tactic.
