A big issue is the downvote feature, where the lowest rated comments are hidden and out at the bottom of the thread. This means if you post an opinion or a fact that they don't like, it can be downvoted to oblivion and hidden from everyone.

Off the top of my head the tweets about Koyama messing with funding to make Scathach's animations better were nuked immediately until mods pinned them to the top of the thread about it.

How do people stomach reddit? Maybe it's because i'm old school and started with forums then moved onto Veeky Forums, but everything about reddit and social media in general makes me physically cringe.
