>Toyota

>oil consumption

shut!

They have nothing but boring slow pieces of shit now and it's run by cucks
T.toyota fan boy

They are for whatever reason Allergic to making their own sports car and performance platforms so almost every fucking thing is a collaboration.

The Supra being just a re-skinned BMW was the most disappointing shit from them ever.

Project Genesis

Won't sell anything interesting in the US

>a litre /1000km

3ZZ-FE

>terrible design language
>sharing platforms with inferior automakers
I don’t want a boxer engine I want an invincible toyota i4 or v6

pretty sure i read somewhere the 1zz is expected to consume 1 quart of oil per 1000 miles

prius

>Scion

I only needed one word

I want this

my 1zz leaks but it sure as hell ain't that bad

Prius is a technological marvel. Toyota literally invented the mass produced hybrid. All other hybrids on the road today are based off the original Prius high voltage layout, Toyota actually had to design their ac dc inverter converter unit from scratch since nobody even made one that small at the time.

The problem is Toyota has been riding the wave of the Prius for to long and neglected everything else

I want one desu. You can find them for super cheap nowadays and the high voltage systems are actually serviceable for the home mechanic if you know what you're doing

OP is talking about Toyota, not Subaru. If you said oil sludge, yeah I would've agreed but even then Toyota's only get that shit if they NEVER change the oil.

>was a technological marvel.

Now days your average tiny turbo engine gets the same mpg's if you stay off boost. You have to drive like a real cocksucking douchebag to get the rated mpg out of a Prius.

It hasn't even been released yet and from lurking on the Supra forums and BMW forums, you're fucking wrong. A lot of people are hyped. Probably because they know all the "rumors" are bullshit, like the automatic only shit.

Now go catch your bus.

Well the new Prius is actually a plug in hybrid so you can get much better than the epa estimate if your commute is short

I'm honestly not trying to shill the Prius I just think hybrid tech is interesting

>Find a flaw
>2jz

The people that don't hypermile their Prius's drive them like dickheads and floor them at every light negating any hybrid advantages. Hybrid tech is the worst of both worlds.

>haven't made anything worth buying in coming up on 15 years

its true unfortunately
mr2 spyder was their last decent car

lol shut the fuck up

lol that thing was a piece of shit

You can drive any car like a dickhead and get shit mileage, that's not a problem with the Prius

>boring
>ugly
>absolute shit to drive
>deprecated tech used across all petrol/diesel engines

>said the busriding faggot

Why does anyone give a shit about this rebodied 4runner from the toyota parts bin?

daww did I hurt your fee fees
Enjoy your never-as-good-as-the-real-thing
"""""FJ"""""

Only people I have ever seen complain this heavily about Toyota are bitter boomers and backwoods hicks.
Genuinely curious to know what you drive, or what companies you support.

...

*as user fills out warranty information for his Wrangler's latest problem*

>It hasn't even been released yet and from lurking on the Supra forums and BMW forums, you're fucking wrong.
So its a an original BMW Platform that's not going to be based off the Z5? because that was pretty much confirmed along with it being built in the same factory as the BMW Z5.

>complain this heavily
kek, I'm not even complaining. I'm just stating my opinion about the brand.
And only you americans fantasize about Toyota, europeans couldn't give two shits about it in general.

Toyota owner here. My car will last 10x longer than yours, that's a good feel.

Stay salty poorfags.

amazing defense

>original BMW Platform
original Toyota platform*

By the time your shitbox is as old as my car it'll have been recycled into a cheap chinese washing machine

because Yuro-peons are dickless cucks

you should've mentioned you were a eurofag, we would've thrown your opinion in the trash immediately

user you've never been to a scrapyard. I have. They're 90% domestic junk waiting to be crushed and shipped to China in tiny little cubes. OEM import parts are more valuable than domestic OEM parts, so the pick-and-pull lots are dominated by import stuff.

Statistically, your American shitbox will be my next toaster oven.

>buys a car only based on its reliability
Are you sure you're a """"car enthusiast?""""
From where I'm standing, you're just a common clueless guy.

>calls me cuck
>doesn't even buy what's made in his own country, will proceed sucking japanese dick

>user you've never been to a scrapyard
hahahaha I don't own a single car newer than 30 years old. I fix up old junkers and do demolition derby with them you dumb nignog, I spend more time in the scrapyard than you spend thinking.

>eurocuck is genuinely upset

lol cry more little bitch, but save some tears for when Jamal and Tyrone shove their 12" AIDS-sticks in your sloppy asshole

And btw, the only jap brand I would ever buy from is Mazda. Because they're actually making good looking cars and ACTUALLY put new tech into their engines, contrary to the 20 year old engines Toyota still puts in 2018 models.

>projecting this hard
Stop embarrassing yourself, weeblord.

>white trash faggot talking shit about Japanese cars

How original.

no one gives a fuck what sub 2-liter diesel bitchmobile you drive faggot

you don't even have your own currency, bitch ass nigga

Cute. Try again bitchboy, I've a classic datsun pickup undergoing full restoration

>you don't even have your own currency
As far as I'm concerned the Euro is the currency of the EU, so as a citizen of a EU member I do have my "own currency" as you say. I see your knowledge of finance is pretty much on par with your knowledge about cars.

I work for a Toyota dealership. The only real flaw Toyota has is their customer base. Due to Toyota's great reliability, their customers have become completely ignorant to anything having to do with car performance and maintenance. And unfortunately this is preventing Toyota from coming out with higher performance vehicles, because that's just not what their customers want.

>cannot into quality V8s
>worst half ton truck in every metric

>pickup
not the guy you're replying here but as an American i must tell you, you're trash.

>2017
>belonging to the EU

Enjoy your refugees faggot.

Literally lmaoing at your cucked life.

Toyota is flawed for listening to its customers and not giving them things they don't want. OK I'll keep that in mind next time I need to buy something. Instead of getting the thing I need/want, I'll purposely buy something that doesn't suit my needs/wants so I'm miserable.

Vis a vis, instead of buying a reliable, user-friendly car I'll buy an unreliable piece of disappointing dogshit from Chrysler.

lel ok kid

To be fair, it would be nice if all truck makers would fucking adopt the SAE standards for the basic metrics like towing, payload, stopping, etc.

Also, Toyota is objectively the most reliable of the 1/2 tons, it's literally impossible to argue anything against this point. To do so would risk unleashing a level of homosexual faggotry so dangerous the entire world would be afflicted with super-AIDS.

>oyota is objectively the most reliable of the 1/2 tons,
Simply because toyota has no 3/4 ton offering, so they had to make an extra capable 1/2 ton to the widest market.

>Toyota is objectively the most reliable of the 1/2 tons

Dick riding Toyota will get you nowhere. There are objective, third party resources that can prove the Toyota reliability myth demonstrably false when it comes to trucks. Because of their construction, they are objectively worse over time when used for actual truck purposes.

This is why, right now, RAM and Ford lead the industry in truck reliability. They're actually built to do truck shit. The Tundra is just a fucking lifted Corolla with a bed. It can't do anything it's competitors can.

lmao the fucking mental gymnastics

>it might be the most reliable
>but only because they don't have a shitty 3/4 ton offering like the rest

what the fuck drugs did your mother do when she was trying to abort you

*cater to the widest market

>as he dickrides [GM/Ford/Nissan/RAM]

youtube.com/watch?v=TL7fyyUNRmA

You are like little baby. Little baby who rides on shriveled American dick.

everyone named Anonymous is the same person

0.2 shekels have been deposited into your account

It's because the average Tundra gets used as a soccer mom mobile instead of a work truck like most domestics. Same reason why Rangers last so long. It's not hard to be reliable when you're driven 20 miles a month by boomer billy.

>most domestics.

Most domestic trucks sold aren't used as work trucks. Not sure where you're going with this.

acktually the average any brand 1/2 ton gets used as a soccer mom mobile. the tundra just happens to be more capable/reliable/better than the aforementioned.

you can't reason with butthurt American fanbois, they're addicted to shitty domestic truck-cock

Yeah this... I like the new Taco, but everything else from Toyota is just mundane. Great for the people who want a car to get them places with no problem, but that's it. Toyota's are the ultimate meh cars and I'm 100% sure they were intended to be meh cars.

>Most domestic trucks sold aren't used as work trucks.

Right... You won't find any Toyota's on the oil field. 90% of fleet trucks are domestics. Try looking past the Starbucks parking lot...

>the tundra just happens to be more capable/reliable/better than the aforementioned.

Not when it's being used for work.

>RAM
>reliable

Yep, it's quite obvious you have absolutely, NO idea what you're talking about. If what you are rambling about is true, give me citation.

fleet trucks are domestics because they get physically destroyed through impact and collision damage you moron, not because they're reliable or well-made

the trucks are a business expense that get replaced every 1-2 years, why would they spend another 30% more when they're going to literally throw the vehicles in the fucking garbage that quickly?

see kids, this is what happens when you're a meth-addicted rig-pig and grew up as a retarded farmchild

its the last million mile toyota ever made.

No Android auto/Apple car play. Idiots

>all this projection

Don't you got a yearly frame replacement or something? Keep sucking that Toyota dick...

>all this butthurt

Better get some aloe on that chapped ass. Maybe ask Tyrone if he can apply it before he ravages your boipussi.

Are you mad that a Toyota can outlast your POS domestic?

dude this whole thread is rife with domesticuck butthurt

Yep, but I had a Rolla with the 1.6 3ZZ and it did consume a litre / 1000km without leaking. Although my current N16 Almera with the 1.8 uses about as much oil too.

I have a 1ZZ with 135,000 miles on it and it has never leaked a detectable amount.

Well then I guess it's safe to say a Civic can also outlast a domestic.

That picture brings back memories. Really shitty memories. Jesus Christ I hated the oil patch.

Drove a 97 Legacy Outback the whole time I was drilling in Jonah Field too.

A million miles of getting groceries vs A million miles doing work. Way to go Toyota!

> A million miles doing work

This sounds like something a nigger would say

There he goes again generalizing Toyota truck owners. I see more lifted domestic trucks at a grocery store parking lot than Toyota's.

There's not too good of a chance that with Toyota trademarking the name "Celica" recently that the MR2 will return. If it does, it will likely be a hybrid.

However, I can't hate Toyota. My SW20 Turbo is a car I will keep forever.

>worst of both worlds
This. Hybrids are a meme.

No the fact that the 86 is priced out of reach of its target audience prevents you from selling performance cars.

On board with never selling my toy yoda

The 1UZ's starter is under the throttle body and early 2000's Tacomas have some of the worst heat shielding possible
>THEY DON'T STOP FUCKING RADDLING

Pic related

I don't get what they're deal is though this seems to be a problem in general. It's one thing not to offer Kei cars in the US since they won't pass crash test, it's another to flat out refuse to entertain demand.

Ford's having a PR shitstorm right now since there's so many conflicting reports on the 2018 Fiesta making it out of Euroland.

I just wish Toyota would bring the Hiace to the US why wont the do it?

>realize i haven't checked my 1.8 1zz-fe's oil level in a long ass time
>see this post
>go out and check it
>still full

Better than whatever piece of shit you drive faggot.

I don't have to add any oil between oil changes to my 1zz fe unless I do track

euro here
toyota a best
>supra
>MR2
>celica
>gt86
>previa
they fucking filmed the bugatti chirpon speeding with a mk4 supra
Toyota is literally the best because they make shitty boring car for normies but make insanely good enthusiast cars like the entire MR2 series or gt86

Diesel models sold in europe are not up to european standards.

D4D

It's pretty typical for their 1.5 litre 4 bangers.

See: Most Scions, Yaris, Prius, etc.

Second Gen master race.

He's one of the worst tripfags on Veeky Forums, literally just ignore anything he says on this board.
