I had that exact year model. Was dead reliable for the 11,000 miles I had it.

1988 Chevy C/K 1500 Silverado. It got maybe 14 MPG and was slow as fuck. Helpful because I actually used it as a work vehicle after I had stopped using it to commute to flip burgers. I still kind of miss it, it was pretty comfy. Bought and sold for $1000.
